Tailscale replied on Reddit: Hi folks, Mike Shaver here, VP of Engineering at Tailscale. We've seen the concerns about Tailscale SSH and wanted to share what we know so far. If you want to jump to the most important part, based on our current assessment, we're not recommending that everyone disable Tailscale SSH. We've now received the researcher's report and are reviewing it. Our engineering and security teams had already been investigating independently, with help from external security specialists. That work has identified issues we're working to fix. We're still validating the full scope, including which configurations are affected. A bit of technical context: Tailscale SSH uses your tailnet's access policies to control who can connect to which machines. Most of the issues we've identified so far concern what happens after someone has been authorized to connect, particularly how Unix privileges and SSH forwarding are handled. In some cases, a session may be able to do more than the configured local user should be allowed to do. While it’s a serious concern, it isn't the same as an unauthenticated attacker being able to connect to arbitrary machines, but the potential impact depends on how SSH access is configured. We're still investigating, so we don't want to make blanket claims about what's affected or not. Again, based on our current assessment, we're not recommending that everyone disable Tailscale SSH. In the meantime, there are a few precautions you can take: •Review your SSH access policies. Make sure only the people and devices that need access have it. •Review SSH forwarding permissions and remove access you don't need. •Consider enabling SSH check mode for an additional authentication step. This won't fix privilege escalation issues, but it does add another barrier to gaining access. •Enable automatic updates where supported so you can pick up fixes when they're released. For particularly sensitive systems, consider temporarily tightening your Tailscale SSH access policies while we investigate, so that only the specific users and devices that need access can connect. We're working on fixes and testing them carefully. We'll publish a security advisory explaining the confirmed findings, affected configurations, recommended actions and available patches. We'll also follow up with a more detailed technical write-up. If we find anything that changes our assessment or requires immediate customer action, we'll communicate that. We know it's been a rough week for security teams, and we understand why people are concerned. We'd rather give you the technical context we have than speculate about things we haven't confirmed yet. We'll share more as we verify the details. If you have any questions about how this relates to your particular environment, please get in touch with our team

Simon holds our hands through one of the most complete explanations of how the world really works today. Brilliant conversation. I think I may disagree with @SimonDixonTwitt on some details and specifics, but his MIC,TIC,FIC model is by far the best I’ve come across at explaining global power structures. If Dangote Gives Me Advice, I’ll Reject It Because He’s Giving Me Advice From His Own Point Of View, Which Might Not Work For Me — Content Creator Gilmore Content creator Gilmore has explained why he does not readily accept advice from others, using Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, as an example while speaking on the WithChude Podcast. According to Gilmore, advice that works for one person may not necessarily work for another because people view situations from different perspectives. Explaining his position, he said: “If Dangote gives me advice, I’ll reject it because he’s giving me advice from his own point of view.” He further described himself as a pioneer of the term POV in Nigeria, stressing that people’s individual experiences shape how they approach situations. “It may work for Dangote, but it may not work for me. I’m the king of POV in Africa. I brought POV to Nigeria” Gilmore also explained that having different points of view does not mean one person is necessarily wrong, as people interpret situations based on their individual perspectives. “POV is your own point of view, meaning the place you are looking at it from so it doesn’t mean another person is looking at it wrongly” He further argued that advice is more likely to be relevant when it comes from someone facing a similar situation, in his words; “Dangote can advise me and it won’t work for me, it is someone that is in same situation as me that can advise me, that’s why I don’t listen to advice and at the end of the day it’s you that will advice yourself” he concluded.

🚨 SOMEONE LEAKED THE PROMPT THAT MAKES CLAUDE CODE CREATE ITS OWN SKILLS AND WORK BETTER EVERY DAY WITHOUT YOU TOUCHING ANYTHING No programming. Just paste. A single prompt does it all: Time needed: 2 minutes Actions: copy and paste into Claude Code The mistake 90% of people make with Claude: explaining the same thing to it every day. The same tone, the same steps, the same corrections. And the next day it starts from scratch again. → Detects what you repeat: reviews your project and asks you what tasks you do every week → Creates a skill for each one: instructions, templates, and examples that Claude loads only when it needs them → Tests them before giving them to you: runs each skill with a real case and fixes it if it fails → Learns from your corrections: every time you correct something, it updates the skill so it doesn't repeat the error → Zero code: you tell it what you do and Claude builds its own library of skills Before, this meant writing manuals, templates, and processes for weeks. Now it's just Ctrl+V. Save it before they delete it 🔖 Follow @tomcruise824458 for more...

The Cloward-Piven strategy of overwhelming America’s social services so they can change how the country is governed and 💰2.) Implement what they deceptively call a “well being” economy. PolicyLink and John Powell were also involved in the creation of the Thriving Together Springboard that became Biden’s Federal Plan for Equitable Long-Term Recovery and Resilience. A billionaire sat in a room for 42 minutes and listed every psychological trick that makes people lose money. for free. the finance industry has spent thirty years pretending this recording does not exist. he didn't sell a course. he didn't write a newsletter. he sat in a chair at 96 years old and explained why brilliant people do the dumbest things with their money. then he explained why they will keep doing it. MBA programs charge $200,000 to teach behavioral finance. he covered 25 biases in one sitting. some of them are still not in any curriculum. he gave the entire framework away on camera. the part nobody talks about: he called crypto antisocial. he said index funds will crush most managers. he said private equity is full of wretched excess. he said all of this in a room full of people who manage money for a living. nobody argued. a hedge fund analyst at a top firm told me this is the first thing they send to anyone who joins the desk. not a book. not a model. a 42-minute video of a 96-year-old man explaining why you will be wrong and how to recognize it before it costs you everything. 40 million people have heard his name. almost none of them have watched him explain the 25 ways their own brain is working against them. the lecture is free. he died the following year. it is in the video.

This is the most important quote from @RichardSocher explaining why most people, including top scientists in various fields, completely underestimated AI's impact and why superintelligence will soon make almost all new discoveries, inventions, and scientific progress: "People underestimate the crazy complex combinatorial space of already existing ideas." "If you combine all the concepts of physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, complexity theory, operating systems, there’s a lot you can already play around with. Similar to chess, you have to build an intuition of which of these idea combinations is the most viable."

Most Wealthy Nigerian Men Are… — Rapper Ms Jorji Claims US-based rapper Ms Jorji has raised a strong claim that many wealthy Nigerian men refuse to use com%ndoms during s+xual encounters, that she has turned down several financially rewarding offers because she insists on practising safe s+x. Speaking during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Ms Jorji was asked how she knew that most wealthy Nig+rian men were HIV carriers. “I know this for sure. I have so many married men who come to me, who want to sleep with me without a condom and I always say no,” she said. She revealed that her refusal to have unprotected s+x had cost her significant amounts of money, particularly in Nigeria, where she claimed she no longer works with or deals with many men. “I have lost a lot of money because I refuse, especially in Nigeria which is why I don’t work there or deal with a lot of men there,” she added. Doubling down on her claims, the rapper further stated; “Most rich Nigerian men are walking stds. They refuse protection cause they find it very disgusting and I don’t even know why,” she stated. Ms Jorji also said she was particularly protective of married women, explaining that she had walked away from lucrative offers from married men because she refused to have unprotected s+x. “I protect a lot of married women and I don’t play about them either because regardless of how dumb a woman is, I am a women first kind of person so I have walked away from a lot of money from married men because I refuse to do without a c%ndom and I don’t play about STD result and I also don’t kiss,” she said.
