Interesting dynamic on $AMC. The bonds have started to trade down as the equity has declined in price.
My suspicion is this is happening b/c bondholders are worried the price is too low for needed dilution and payback of the bonds
The funny thing about this is that $AMC hasn't used its cash yet. Hence, the decline in bond prices helps, not hurts the need to pay back debt.
You typically don't have short-term investors in the bond markets. You also have a weird dynamic related to bond marks being influenced by the b-a widening and any weird last price marks.
Let's see how it goes. The next real data point is earnings.
