This week we’re looking at numerical patterns. We’ll be finding doubles using five & tens frames, then looking at representing it in different ways. Link in bio #Doubling #Double #NumericalPatterns #10MinuteMaths #Maths #EYFS #EarlyMaths #EarlyNumeracy #SimplePlayWithMaths

Today in Maths we read us a book called One odd day. We discussed what was odd in the pictures and why. Then in pairs we circled all the things that were odd for example the dog had 3 legs @StanleyGrovePA #oddandeven #maths #numericalpatterns

'It's like stairs!' 'It's one more...' 'There's 6 snorey grannies!' Lots of noticing and reasoning going on in Reception this week as we have been exploring growing patterns @whitehouseps @NTynesideEY #Maths #TheNappingHouse #Numericalpatterns

Loved exploring arrangements of 6 today with loose parts. Great partner talk, turn taking and mathematical reasoning. @BrooklandsPrim @NCETM #EYFSmaths #masteringnumber #numericalpatterns
