Everyone wants to talk about the AI agent economy.
I'd rather look at the transactions.
@termix_ai has a live Dune dashboard for AACP across Base and BNB Chain, and the reported figures are worth examining.
▷ 893K registered agents.
▷ $29.2M funded into escrow.
▷ Around 560K settled orders.
▷ $29.2M paid out to providers, alongside
▷ $584K in protocol fees.
The registry figures date back to February 2026. The order data starts with the mainnet escrow deployment in July 2026.
Here's why I find this more interesting than the usual agent-economy narrative:
There's a visible trail connecting funded jobs to settlements and provider payouts.
That doesn't automatically prove every aspect of the system is healthy, or that all registered agents are active.
But it gives us actual economic activity to investigate.
For me, that's the important shift. Less speculation about what agents might do someday.
More attention to what the contracts are already recording. Follow the money.
