    We built Pando, a new Git backend for our monorepo, to handle more pushes and fetches without changing how our engineers and agents use Git. Pando cut push latency by ~80% and now serves nearly a petabyte of Git data a day. We can grow Git capacity alongside agent usage.

    我隔三差五就要说一次， 无论牢A说美国资本大鳄到处捞人活摘器官，还是法轮功说高中生离奇死亡后被活摘器官， 都是彻头彻尾的谣言。 现代临床医学学术界最大的共识是，器官移植是不可能100%免掉排异反应的，这是高中生物书的基本常识， 只要有排异反应，就要一辈子服用抗排异药物， 患者终身免疫力就维持在正常人的30%， 器官移植后的人，是极其脆弱的，是以自己打掉白细胞、整个人体免疫力自我打三折、感冒发烧都极易感染作为代价，换取生存的时间——但这也总比没有器官移植、直接等死要强得多。 所以，器官移植后的人不仅要终身口服抗排异药物，而且要面对各种抗排异反应，最轻微的是全身红疹（类似过敏）或者其他免疫系统疾病，严重的移植后也有很大概率死亡。 现代临床医学的一大学术共识是，如果器官能用，绝对尽量不要做移植手术，除非移植手术带来的收益远远大于移植手术的风险。 再说一遍，这是人体自身免疫系统的排异反应，这是高中生物书的内容，这不是什么新发现，这是20世纪下半页全球临床学术界就达成的基本共识，甚至是常识。 至于像牢A和法轮功意淫的， 有钱人换个心脏延长10岁，换个肾脏永葆青春，80岁富豪花钱偷偷去外面找年轻人，器官一个一个换过来，天天换血，全身都换一遍，就成了20岁小伙子，直接返老还童， 这是纯粹文盲的说法，是纯粹的造谣和胡说八道，信这种谣言的人，连他妈高中生物书都没看过。 人类对器官移植有非常严谨和长期的临床研究，普通人如果这点常识都没有，那就只能沦为谣棍的附庸。

    收入大规模的增长，根本不可能来源于工资，也不可能来自于行业，而只能来源于资本市场。 只有一个行业的头部公司冲击IPO了，才能开始全世界拿高工资+option去全球挖人，追求IPO之前的极限增长， 只有一个新的行业重磅诞生了，红杉软银们拿着真金白银几个亿几十亿去投资新风口，cofounder 们才能拿着行业顶级平均工资+极大比重的公司option去挖人，四五年经历两三轮融资，公司估值暴涨100倍，一丁点小虾米option已经成了天价9位数，才能让这个行业卖命的普通人财务自由。 而当这个技术已经大范围普及了，或者在传统大厂做相关工作，或者在传统行业做相关工作，怎么可能喝上任何一丁点的肉汤？ 这就好比张三是iPhone初代和之后历代的超级大功臣，李四是某个国企电网的iOS developer，都说自己吃上移动互联网的红利，那红利差距千差万别。 最后的最后，只有一个行业几家公司持续垄断某个区域甚至全球市场，持续有强劲增量，每个季度增长30%~300%，才能有资本不断买入股票，才能让这个行业的员工维持高薪的水平，才能靠着公司股票水涨船高，比如电商，比如平台经济，比如短视频。 普通码农硅工们本身几乎就没有任何跟公司溢价的权利，只有选择行业、选择公司、选择技术的权利。

    OpenAI has signed 4 new agreements in Abu Dhabi as CEO Sam Altman visits the UAE, expanding its presence across energy, government and investment. The agreements include: 1) ADNOC + G42: ADNOC becomes the first energy company to deploy OpenAI's Frontier technology, using AI to improve decisions across oil production, refining and trading. 2) Abu Dhabi Government: OpenAI will help convert government regulations into machine-readable formats, allowing AI to assist with permits and compliance checks. The first pilot is already live. 3) Mubadala + Inception42: Deploying AI for investment analysis, identifying opportunities and assessing risks. 4) Inception42: A five-year partnership to expand OpenAI's technology across government agencies, businesses and education in the UAE. The deals deepen OpenAI's ties with the UAE, where it is also involved in a planned 5 GW AI data center project.

    The Git client tells Pando which commits it has and which it wants. Pando returns links to stored packfiles that cover the gap, including missing branch dependencies. These packfiles may include some objects a client already has; but by reusing these across many readers, Pando provides CDN-like performance.

    张雪这一轮给重庆理工大学开价15万被骂，完全是活该，吃了自己认知不足的亏，现在正确的做法是，直接开出50万package，其中15万base， 10万bonus（按照performance计算，有5%拿到全部，有15%拿到1/2，30%拿到1/4，50%拿不到）， 15万重庆人才引进计划（重庆市人才引进办公室评测，最大额度20万， 每年提交材料评审，公司不掏钱，有问题询问重庆市办公室）， 10万option（按照公司本轮融资估值）， 这样张雪同样拿15万现金，可以画出来一个50万的package，再加上一笔一次性5万的signon bonus+relocation fee（很多人自己也要强行加到package里面去），这样就画出了55万年薪的大饼。 这是10年前的玩法，可惜10年过去了，张雪居然还没学会。

    I joined @OpenAI last week, and for those who’ve known me a while, that might come as a surprise. I’ve spent 25 years working to expand economic opportunity for people, from small business owners in Pennsylvania to community college students stretching to pay for a course that they hope will land them a better job, to farmers in Kenya trying to earn enough send their kids to school. I believe AI will be the most consequential technology of my lifetime, but like electricity, antibiotics or the internet, what matters most is that it’s accessible and useful to people in practical day to day ways. I’m grateful for the chance to help make that happen.

    哪个头部LLM公司、frontier lab、互联网厂投资wet lab大举进军搞生物制药大跃进，我都瞧不起他，有一个算一个。 一堆你妈靠算力和算法解决的大型工业仿真还没用agent一个个爆破，天天想着投钱造个wet lab爆破bioinfo的那点剩饭，属实是没出息。 党哥复读了无数次，再说一次，接下来36个月的趋势是让agent完成所有半导体的工作（cadence、synopsis）、仿真和控制（simulink、labview）、机械设计和航空航天船舶流体分析（ansys、CAD、abacus）。 这些问题优先度，目前都要远远高于造个wet lab大规模几万个自动化设备养几百万个小白鼠培养皿柱子分析仪大规模并行几千个实验。

    我非常认可Sam Altman的看法。 绝大多数普通人手机和笔记本的DRAM，完完全全就是一种巨大的浪费，如果用来推进AI的进展，对于全社会整体的收益和贡献，要远远大于憋在普通人的电脑和手机里。 为了支持人类的长期发展和进步，我支持OpenAI拿出一半的股权，来回收我们老百姓电脑和手机里的废弃内存条和内存颗粒，我来帮助OpenAI开拓中国市场，帮他们接洽转转团队。
