Thanks @korenmiklos for the thread. I’m taking this opportunity to give my very opinionated thoughts on the debate itself, this thread, and other threads that emerged post debate ... 🧵

12/ For now, I’ll continue to use @Stata+#Python, but I am rooting for the day that causal inference packages are fully adapted to #Python. Maybe then, I’ll move to Julia for computational speed but only if @Python won't provide it ;-)

Python is fun! I just filtered a friend's dvd collection to 'streamable on netflix' with the help of libib and the netflixroullette api.

@driscollis I’ve been playing whit <evdev> and let me tell you, it’s just awesome. If you need to read/write events on the Linux kernel interface, this can save you a lot of time. 👏 #PythonRocks

I take pause this morning to remember my friend @hamletbatista. He was an amazing entrepreneur, kind soul, and always eager to share his leaning. My heart hurts at our loss. I will be thinking of him, and focusing on gratitude for what I have today. #sadness #seo #pythonrocks

Whoooa! Testing the #nttw5 demo dpx_splitting_script.py on 8 reels of 4K scans today found a bug in one of my functions! Every reel needs splits so each is under 1TB… 01of08 is already 01of14… and still growing! So grateful to automate this complexity #PythonRocks

"I strongly recommend learning an html preprocessor such as Pug, and a css preprocessor such as SASS, both of these use bracketless, indentation based nesting." So much ppl complaining about python indentation and we will end up using the same approach everywhere #pythonrocks

Hey, it's day 2 of my #100DaysOfCode challenge and I just built a prime number checker in Python! This little tool can come in handy for things like bitcoin and encryption.

But that's not all - I also played around with Caesar cipher and created a digital version of it using functions with inputs, arguments, parameters, for loops, and lists.
