    This really is a perfect example of using the #socraticmethod to teach #criticalthinking. Notice the teacher is a) acting as a guide! b) treating the student as capable of thinking c) is NOT belittling even when the student comes to realize his error. I can teach you to do this.

    Good cartoon depicting the hollowing out of the centre. Both sides don’t want to hear nuance, and push back hard driving those in the centre into the other camp, either in their own minds or sometimes actually. It’s bad for civil society and civil debate.
