UGC is releasing draft guidelines for offering the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) by HEIs. UGC Chairman, Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar (@mamidala90) urges all eligible higher education institutions to take advantage of the AEDP, offering hands-on industry experience alongside academic learning. This is available for 3- and 4-year degree programmes, and aims to make students employment-ready by allowing them to spend up to four semesters in industry.
