In 2018, I coded this minimalistic WM, WIN3WM (GPLv3). It has 2 #retro styles: #X11 basic & #Windows3.0. I'm in full barbarian mode using it now. It uses 3-4 MB of RAM, making resource usage great again. I published it recently for instructional purposes.
