Happy #WomensDay! @GirlCode_za held their annual Women's Month hackathon over the weekend in JHB, CPT & DBN and the #WeThinkCode ladies came out in droves and represented us well, with teams placing in all three cities!🥳 Here's a thread honouring all the teams #WomenThinkCode

There is one more CPT team that represented #WeThinkCode at the GirlCode Hackathon; Team 'CompView' consisting of Tara, Shenevra and Kabelo (2021 cohort soon to graduate) and Blandine (accepted for 2022 cohort), came first place in their city! #WomenThinkCode #WomensMonth

This morning we hosted our Cape Town #WomenThinkCode launch event and it was so inspiring! We’re creating a collaborative community of women who strive to change the narrative to be more inclusive and bring more women into the tech field, at scale. #ReCodeTheFuture #womenintech

The platform you have created for young girls in the tech industry is absolutely amazing. It was hectic indeed however it helped me to expand my knowledge and know what my weaknesses are in order to excel😁 #GirlCodeHack #WomenThinkCode

Today, we had a #WomenThinkCode session at the Cape Town campus with #WeThinkCode CEO as the special guest!

Congrats to Denise, Seipati, Charlotte & Tracy aka team Modern Girls, for being announced as the overall winners of the nationwide #hackathon and receiving a R60k prize! #WomenThinkCode #WomensDay #WeThinkCode

Congratulations Modern Girls #GirCodehack winners!!

Thank you to the ladies and gent who joined our Joburg #WomenThinkCode breakfast launch event this morning. We’re very excited about driving this collaborative community to change the narrative of #womenintech going forward. #BornToCode #ReCodeYourFuture #FutureIsFemale

The first #WomenThinkCode workshops for our February #WeThinkCode Bootcampers happened yesterday (also making the best use of load shedding time). An opportunity to connect, inspire and motivate with like-minded #womenintech so that together they can thrive! #BornToCode

We’re at @wethinkcode’s #WomenThinkCode event this morning discussing making coding and the larger tech industry more accessible to women. 👩🏿‍💻

@AWIDafrica We are looking for more #WomenThinkCode Ambassadors in JHB & CPT to join our ecosystem that strives to uplift #womenintech. If you’re interested in getting involved please get in touch with @skattijay, Head of Sourcing & Marketing, who is spearheading this initiative.

Congratulations to Alyson Ngonyama who was awarded the “Good Fellowship Award.” #WomenThinkCode #WTCGrad #RecodeYourFuture
