    ‼️ An Android app that asks for no permissions and is never opened can trap a phone in an endless reboot loop, Bitdefender found. Installing it crashes a core Android process on every boot. Safe mode doesn't help, and most users' only way out is a factory reset that wipes the phone. It hits Android 10 and later, Google's own Pixel 10 included. Bitdefender says Google first closed its report as not reproducible. Then Google said the flaw won't be fixed in a security update.
