Number 1 & 8. Many years ago I went to the ED for severe abdominal pain & vomiting. The doctor assumed I was an addict who was drug seeking bc I was also agitated. He withheld pain meds, nausea meds and testing. When my husband & parents finally arrived an hour later, they convinced him I wasn't an addict. For whatever reason I become agitated with sever abdominal pain. I had a c-section where the anesthesiologist forgot the morphine before removing the spinal. The spinal quickly wore off and I was in excruciating pain. The mistake wasn't caught and I remember a nurse in recovery telling my husband she could only give me meds for the agitation.

What this doesn't address is how many who were diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder actually had OUD. If it even exists, at all. OUD is not opioid addiction. It was a made up "disease" by a workgroup funded by the companies who benefit. Pain pts were listed as their untapped market. Now sick, disabled pts in severe pain are being slapped with this diagnosis and pushed onto Suboxone. Where are the Netflix documentaries?

Where indeed! I am shocked that there has been a movement besides the few people here on X to uncover this scam that has been sold the public. They made movies about the takedown of the few “pill mills” there were but now we have a large class of seriously suffering citizens in the millions whose doctors are afraid to treat them lest they be looked at with automatic suspicion.
