this is becoming f*cking dangerous Hundreds of AI cybersecurity startups just got thrown in the trash OpenAI just launched Private Intelligence: an architecture that lets you feed your most critical corporate databases to neural networks with zero risk of a leak You no longer need expensive workarounds to filter and obfuscate data before sending it Now the entire architecture runs through a three-stage pipeline: -> Stage 1 The Warden: you hard-code the boundaries before the agent even wakes up, defining data access, allowed tools, and permitted actions -> Stage 2 The Black Hole: prompts enter the Zero Data Retention environment where Private Safety Processing happens in real time. Not a single byte stays on OpenAI servers for human review. All logs are encrypted and routed to your own cloud storage -> Stage 3 Confidential Silicon: Private Inference launches this fall. Response generation will happen inside encrypted hardware enclaves using confidential computing with strict verifiable controls Even if the security system catches a suspicious behavior pattern, OpenAI staff will only receive a narrow signal about the threat type, with zero access to the actual content The trick is that the neural network processes your request in a protected environment, and security logs are encrypted with your Enterprise Key Management key that only you control How to deploy this paranoid security level for your projects: -> Open the API console, go to your organization settings, and select Data controls -> Create an isolated bucket in your cloud provider with a 30-day deletion rule -> Connect and validate the storage to transition your project to the Zero Data Retention policy with Private Safety Processing -> Sign up for the Private Inference preview to get access to confidential computing Bookmark this post before your competitors figure out how to automate their secure workflowsHoodie @HoodieFade_919915.5K

they’re calling it a “stealth” bear market and i don’t think people realize how serious this is 20 big tech stocks are now down 20% or more from their highs. not penny stocks. not small caps. names everyone knows any ONE of these would normally be the biggest market story of the week AppLovin, app ads: -65% CoreWeave, AI data centers: -57% Coinbase, crypto exchange: -56% Western Digital, hard drives: -52% Oracle, cloud and databases: -50% Arm Holdings, chip designs: -49% Circle, USDC stablecoin: -44% Sandisk, flash memory: -42% Robinhood, trading app: -40% Seagate, hard drives: -39% ServiceNow, business software: -37% Super Micro Computer, AI servers: -35% Intel, chips: -35% Adobe, Photoshop: -34% Broadcom, AI chips: -31% Marvell Technology, data center chips: -30% Alphabet, Google: -28% IBM, enterprise tech: -25% Micron, memory chips: -24% Meta, Facebook and Instagram: -22% and that’s not even the whole list. Strategy: -49%. Netflix: -47%. Uber: -35% and it just got worse. Alphabet missed on Search revenue last night and $GOOGL fell about 10% after hours. a $3.5 trillion company. up about 100% in 18 months market reports are saying just 10 stocks drove 70% of the S&P 500’s gains since March 30. that’s what hides the damage everywhere else if you own an S&P 500 fund, a Nasdaq fund, or a tech ETF you are potentially affected open your fund. check its top 10 holdings. find them on this list. then look at the index again Nasdaq 100 futures are down 0.9% overnight. bitcoin is sitting near $80,000 20 tech names are already in a bear market and the S&P 500 is still about 1% from its record. that gap is the only thing still keeping this “stealth”1072811.7K
Supabase has become one of the default backends for the AI coding era. The open source Postgres platform now has 13 million users, spins up more than a million databases every week, and roughly 70% of its new activity is coming from agents. As coding shifts from developers writing software by hand to agents building on their behalf, Supabase has been rebuilding itself around that new user. Supabase co-founder and CEO Paul Copplestone joins Garry, Harj, and Jared on the Lightcone to talk about what happens when everyone can become a builder. They dive into why personal software may become as common as personal documents, how to design products that agents actually want to use, and why knowing what to build may matter more than knowing how to build it. 01:18 - Growth and 4x Revenue 02:35 - Three Eras of Supabase 04:34 - “Builders” vs. Traditional Devs 08:42 - Personalized Apps 12:12 - Personal Databases & Data Ownership 15:56 - Scaling to Billions 17:58 - AI Adoption At Supabase 19:58 - Lessons Learned Along The Way 27:29 - Building For Personal Agents, Dogfooding 30:01 - Agent-First Design and Evals 38:42 - The Future Of Coding 42:36 - Opening Up More Entrepreneurship902932239.6K
RIP vector databases (2019–2026).dale @daleverettEmbeddings were a mistake. We matched OpenAI’s best embedding model on FiQA without using a single embedding. No vector database. No chunking. 🇻🇳 🚨 VIETNAM: NATIONAL ASSEMBLY NETWORK ACCESS ALLEGEDLY FOR SALE A threat actor on an underground forum claims to be selling access to systems of the Vietnam National Assembly, the country's legislative body. The listing allegedly offers Remote Desktop (RDP), Domain Administrator and SQL database access, with an asking price reported at around $250. It gives no proof of access and no detail on how or when the access was obtained. The claim has not been independently verified. ⚠️ Analyst Note: If genuine, Domain Admin rights inside a national legislature's network could expose internal documents, email and databases, and allow ransomware or espionage operators to move freely across the domain. The very low price is a warning sign: cheap government access listings are often stale, limited in scope or exaggerated. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a compromise of the Vietnam National Assembly. Source: this is for subscribers only. Day 1 of Learning SQL 💻 Today, I started my SQL learning journey and here’s what I learnt: - What SQL is and why it is important in data analytics. - What databases are and how they store information. - What tables are and how they are organised. - The difference between rows and columns. - What records mean in a database. How SQL helps data analysts retrieve, manage and work with data. I also learnt that every row represents a record, while columns represent the different attributes of that record. #30DaysOfSQL #DataAnalytics #SQL #LearningInPublic364643812.4K
