    Understanding the JavaScript Event Loop: 1. Finish the call stack 2. Drain ALL microtasks (Promises, queueMicrotask) 3. Take the next macrotask (setTimeout, events) 4. Repeat That's why Promise.then() always runs before setTimeout(0)! #JavaScript #EventLoop #WebDev

    JS Event Loop: Stack empty → drain all microtasks (Promises) → one macrotask (setTimeout) → repeat. Why Promises run before setTimeout(0): microtasks first. #JavaScript #EventLoop

    JS Event Loop mental model: Call stack = running code. Queues = waiting work (promises, timers, I/O). Event loop moves work from queues to the stack only when the stack is empty. await pauses that function, not the thread. #JavaScript #EventLoop

    JS Event Loop: Microtasks (Promises) always run before macrotasks (timers). console.log(1) setTimeout(()=>console.log(2),0) Promise.resolve().then(()=>console.log(3)) console.log(4) → 1 4 3 2 await only pauses the current function. #JavaScript #EventLoop

    #Day31 : Event Loop JavaScript is single-threaded — it runs one task at a time. Web APIs handle async tasks like timers or fetch. The Event Loop moves completed tasks back to JS. JS never waits — it just keeps executing! #JavaScript #EventLoop #AsyncJS #WebDev

    Why so many #javascript #eventloop explanations focus on the call stack so much? "Event loop checks the call stack"? Couldn't find any proof of that. On the contrary, the documentation says that when event loop does checks, the stack is empty anyway. Read the fine MDN article!
