Bro just hit a $111K day with his Ecom brand just 6 months after launching ⠀ At a 30% margin🤯 ⠀ Wasn't a straight line though ⠀ Tested 50 products and nothing worked. Kept chasing the next hack, the next media buying strategy, the next AI tool ⠀ Then joined Origins in April and launched the brand the same month ⠀ Turns out the hacks weren't the problem. He was missing the basics ⠀ So him and his business partner went deep on market research. Hours on Reddit getting to know their customers, scripting ads and funnels with intent, actually reading their post-purchase and post-delivery surveys ⠀ Boring stuff most of you skip ⠀ Then it all started printing. More winning ads, more data, better product ⠀ When you understand your customer better than they understand themselves, your ads feel like they were made just for them ⠀ A new mum scrolls right past "want to lose the baby weight?" ⠀ But "Are you stopping on every mum-body transformation you see?" hits different. That's literally her ⠀ You don't guess your way to that, you find it in a 2AM Reddit rabbit hole ⠀ 50 failed products > Origins > $111K day in Evolve. Generational run ⠀ In his words: "your life can literally change in 6 months if you make the right decisions" ⠀ How can you watch someone chad scale like this and not take action? Few.281035418.8K

The comment section tells you all! Amazing work by @dineshkum4r and team to achieve this, they have been working for the last 3-6 months. 2000+ Apti videos (60-120s) at first for trial, after the amazing feedbacks, we are experimenting with DSA videos (slightly longer ones). There's a reason we have multiple people in our team, we learn, we evolve, we experiment. More importantly, we take feedbacks. This video you see here in the N-th version, we took like 500+ people feedbacks post hte first.Striver | Building takeUforward @striver_79experimenting something, this will be the future imo. One of the biggest f*ck ups I see Ecom brands make when they switch to subscriptions: ⠀ Not tracking day zero churn. ⠀ That's the subs who cancel the same day they sign up. ⠀ One $6M/month brand was losing 12.3% of new subs this way. 50 days later it was 4.5%. ⠀ It's one of the few subscription numbers you can move in under 2 months. ⠀ It's also the first number that shows how your subs will hold up. Most brands wait 30 days for the first rebill (the next charge) to find out. ⠀ A guy in Evolve running a pet brand checked after just a few days: ⠀ 100 customers came in 47 took the sub 18.6% of those cancelled within 2 days ⠀ He knew more cancels were coming, so he planned on losing 30%, not 18.6%. ⠀ 47 subs - 30% = 33 subs left ⠀ So he expected 33 out of every 100 customers to still be paying in month 1. Before a single rebill. And he hadn't counted failed cards yet. You will. ⠀ You can do this for your own brand. Call it the Day 7 Check. ⠀ One week of data gives you a safe low guess at your 6-month LTV (how much a customer pays you in total). ⠀ It won't be exact. It's a number to plan with until real rebills come in. ⠀ You only need 4 numbers: ⠀ 1) New customers. How many you got that week. Say 100. ⠀ 2) Take rate. How many of them picked the sub. Say 60%. ⠀ 3) Cancels. How many of those subs cancelled in the first 7 days. Say 10%. Now double it to 20%. Day 7 is too early to catch everyone. More people cancel when the rebill reminder hits and when they run out of product. Got older subs? Check how many really left by month 1 and use that instead of doubling. And if your 7-day number is closer to 20% than 10%, this math gets ugly fast. ⠀ 4) Card approvals. How many rebills actually go through. Your sub app shows you this. Say 80%. One Evolve brand only collects 71% even after retrying cards. Those people didn't choose to leave. Their card just failed. So set up card retries and an "update your card" email. ⠀ Now run it: ⠀ 100 customers 60 take the sub (60%) 48 don't cancel (lose 20%) 38 cards go through (80%) ⠀ That's 38 customers paying you in month 1. ⠀ Every month after that, assume you lose 30%. Take last month's number and cut 30%: ⠀ Month 1: 38 Month 2: 38 - 30% = 27 Month 3: 27 - 30% = 19 Month 4: 19 - 30% = 13 Month 5: 13 - 30% = 9 Month 6: 9 - 30% = 6 ⠀ Your dashboard might say 10-20% a month. Don't use that here. That number includes old subs who stopped cancelling long ago. New subs quit the fastest. ⠀ Now turn it into money. Say your first order is $50 and your rebill is $55: ⠀ First order: 100 × $50 = $5,000 Month 1: 38 × $55 = $2,090 Month 2: 27 × $55 = $1,485 Month 3: 19 × $55 = $1,045 Total: $9,620 ⠀ $9,620 ÷ 100 customers = $96 per customer over 3 months. ⠀ Keep going to month 6 and it's $112. ⠀ Why guess this low? Because early numbers lie, the same way a new ad looks like a winner for 2 days and then dies. One Evolve brand's first 145 customers were worth $76 after 12 weeks. The next groups were worth $66 and $61. ⠀ So swap in your real numbers as each rebill comes in. ⠀ Talked about this in the article below: with subscriptions, you don't really know if a customer was worth it until day 90. ⠀ Still true. You just don't have to wait until then to know how much you can pay for a customer. ⠀ Take that $96. Say product, shipping and card fees eat 25%. You keep $72. ⠀ So if you're cool breaking even by month 3, you can pay up to $72 to get a customer. ⠀ On a $50 first order, that's a 0.69 ROAS 💀 ⠀ Most of y'all would kill that ad instantly. ⠀ BUT don't get too excited yet. ⠀ You keep $37.50 from that first order, and you paid $72 to get it. So you're down $34.50 on every customer on day one. Do that with 10,000 customers and you're $345k in the hole until month 3 pays you back. In our finance program we call this the great wall of death. ⠀ And the payoff is small. By month 6 you've kept $84 per customer. Take off your $72 and that's $12 each, so $120k. You risked $345k to make $120k. Cooked. ⠀ If your cost per customer goes up 30% as you scale, that $72 becomes $94. Now you're past your limit. ⠀ So $72 is your limit, not your goal. Want room for error? Break even by month 2 instead. That's a $64 limit, or a 0.78 ROAS. ⠀ Yeah, you can scale at a 0.69. Just make sure your bank account survives it. That's what float is for: Amex, vendor terms and Meta net-45, so your bills land after your customers have paid you. ⠀ Now, how to actually cut your day zero churn. ⠀ Two kinds of people cancel on day zero. Emails only save one of them. ⠀ 1) The deal grabber. They wanted the cheap price, not the sub. That's not a subscriber. That's a coupon with a pulse. One Evolve brand lost 25% of subs on day one, and the owner blamed the big first order discount. No email fixes that. Your offer does. Grayson, our finance coach in Evolve, manages over $200M/month in subscription revenue. He looked at one brand that sold a $59 product for $5, and 60% of payments failed. Don't cut your sub price even lower. Raise your one-time price 10-20%, so the sub is still the better deal. Then show them what they get for staying. A free gift at month 2. A bigger one at month 3. ⠀ 2) The second-guesser. They wanted the sub. Then your emails gave them a reason to quit. ⠀ Look at what lands in a new sub's inbox on day one. The order confirmation. The welcome email. The "you're now a subscriber" email. Most of it just reports what happened. Almost none of it sells them on staying. They basically got a bank statement with a logo on it. ⠀ And one of those emails usually says "here's the button to manage or cancel." Before the product has even shown up. ⠀ You're literally paying Meta to find a customer, then holding the door open for them on the way out. ⠀ Zarak who runs Mailer Profit (email agency) fixed this for that $6M/month brand. ⠀ The order email stopped being a receipt. Now it reminds them what they got, why it was a smart buy, and which free gifts are coming. ⠀ Then they added long plain-text emails that show what life looks like once the product starts working. So by the time the box shows up, they're already sold. ⠀ That's how 12.3% became 4.5%. ⠀ Then get ahead of the next wave. Find the day your subs cancel the most, and send a free gift 2-3 days before it. Not a discount. That's Grayson's move. One brand's cancels spiked around day 45, so the gift went out around day 38. ⠀ Now don't get scummy with this. ⠀ Never hide the cancel button to fix this number. Keep it in your emails and make cancelling easy. ⠀ Hide it and people just dispute the charge with their bank. Amazon paid $2.5B to settle with the FTC over how Prime signed people up and let them cancel. And you are not Amazon. ⠀ Grayson puts first-month churn on supplements at 20-30%. So aim to keep 75%+ of your subs after month 1, and 40%+ after month 3. ⠀ Use your real numbers for this, not the low guesses. Pull them from Lifetimely, because sub apps can count paused subs as still active. ⠀ Run the Day 7 Check on every new batch of customers, and you'll see the wall before you hit it. ⠀ Tis the way of the chad scaler.Shaun Eng @shauneng361634938.8K
