When we started Jobs Now we really thought the hidden jobs problem would be solved in one year. We thought it was so egregious - Microsoft running newspaper ads asking for paper mail applications for Blizzard developers, apply to Global Mobility (Immigration), while laying off thousands of those SAME workers- that public outrage would be immediate (it was!) And the fix was so simple - DOL writes a new regulation. PERM ads have to be posted on your website! No hiding in the back of the print newspaper! Easy! Done in 6 months! Again and again, our government has been presented with easy ways to stop American Immigration Replacement - with or without Congress. Ban hidden jobs. End OPT & stop paying companies to replace new grads with foreigners. End H4EAD. And they haven't done it. From the outside, it looks to us like there is a real disinterest in the core work of governing. Filling out the paperwork, changing the rules, making sure the department policies are putting AMERICANS FIRST, day in and day out as they ought to. That will never work. Sometimes people are frustrated with the specifics we ask for - we have deliberately taken an "eat your vegetables" approach to policy. Memes and crazy pronouncements are fun, but what will actually change your lives and ours is the slow, unglamorous work of changing the rules to make sure Americans are always at the front of the line. BREAKING: A NEW RADAR SITE is coming to southeast Missouri, filling one of the largest radar coverage gaps in the United States! The radar will be built near Van Buren, Missouri, where the lowest radar beam currently passes roughly 13,000 FEET above the ground! This $2 MILLION+ project aims to dramatically improve severe weather detection and warning capabilities across the region. Construction is expected to be completed by June 2027. This should be a public radar site, as it's being funded with taxpayer dollars.
