Understanding #Angular modules (#NgModule) and their scopes

Can someone explain to me why removing NgModules from #Angular apps is so desirable? I mean, I guess I understand having them be optional, but is it really that hard to import a module? I don't get it.

@prestonjlamb For newbies, #angular modules look like some advanced topic which makes them hesitate to choose angular over react/other frameworks. Removing #NgModule is not a desirable option but making it optional does. Refer to RFC for more info
