🫀 In cardiology fellowship, you rarely get to practise the moments that matter most. You can’t rehearse a patient in cardiogenic shock, and you don’t get to take the C arm or run the stimulator yourself until you’re already in the room. 👉 So I built Ventriculus: Free cardiology simulators that run on a working model of the heart, in your browser. • Shock Simulator: manage a cardiogenic shock patients in the CICU, fifteen minutes at a time • Catheterization Lab: drive the C arm and inject on real 3D anatomy, left and right catheterization • Electrophysiology Lab: run an EP study, from baseline intervals to ablation • Device Programmer: pacemakers, ICDs and CRT on a live rhythm • Plus an ECG Atlas, Echo Guide and Cardiac Pharmacy Change the heart and everything follows. Free, no ads, no account. For education, not patient care. Feedback welcome. #MedEd #FOAMed #CardioTwitter

I just came across a great R Shiny app that takes interactive mapping to the next level with Leaflet. It lets you draw "spray" patterns on the map by holding Shift + Left Click to scatter points within a circle around your cursor. Best of all, you can export all generated points as a CSV file for further use. Key Features of the app: 🔹 Adjustable spray radius & intensity 🔹 Live counters for total points and per-class counts 🔹 Four customizable classes (A, B, C, D), each with its own color 🔹 Quick reset to start fresh anytime Licensed under MIT, the tool is open to customization and expansion. Perfect for interactive mapping demos, spatial analysis, or data exploration. Thanks to Luca Dell'Anna for creating this great app! 2010: Pulang sekolah, buka Angry Birds, Minecraft, Temple Run. Masalah terbesar cuma baterai habis, kalah main, atau dimarahin emak gara-gara lupa mandi. 😂 2026: Bangun tidur, buka ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini. Lanjut Canva, CapCut, Instagram, Zapier, Notion. Belum sarapan, otak udah disuruh jadi direktur, editor, programmer, marketing, sama admin sekaligus. Dulu teknologi kita pakai buat kabur sebentar dari kenyataan. Sekarang teknologi malah bikin kita merasa harus produktif setiap detik. Lucunya, alat makin canggih, pekerjaan makin gampang, tapi kepala kok malah makin penuh? Gue rasa kemajuan terbesar bukan soal berapa banyak aplikasi yang lo kuasai, tapi kapan lo tahu harus berhenti memakainya. Jangan sampai teknologi makin pintar, manusianya malah lupa cara menikmati hidup.

A little personal history: When i started university i wanted to be a painter. Kandinsky, Klee, Pollock, all my heros. I wanted to paint "visual music" so much that I eventually realized that I should just learn how to make music. So I switched majors. Almost immediately I started getting into electronic music production. Synthesis was the most pure form of musical painting I'd ever found, and I was spending every moment I could in the schools tiny production studio. Then my friend Mitch told me I should read the book _Gödel,_Escher,_Bach_ and it finally clicked that the ultimate form of composition was writing computer programs. A program could generate a painting, a song, or anything you could imagine. So now I'm a programmer.
