Today we are launching ACT Math Fundamentals on Math Academy (905 topics). While building it, we uncovered 88 new "missing middle" topics - skills that appear regularly on the ACT but are rarely taught in a standard curriculum. What's the missing middle? I'm glad you asked... Most people assume that if a student earns A’s in Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus, they have been taught all the math on the ACT exam. Often, they haven’t. Between standard textbook exercises and the problems that appear on standardized exams sits a large "missing middle": problems where familiar concepts are combined in non-standard ways, disguised in unfamiliar representations, or constrained so that standard textbook scripts fail. With only about a minute per question on average across the ACT math section, encountering these structures for the first time on test day can kill your pacing. If you spend three or four minutes inventing a method on a few unfamiliar problems in the middle of the section, the clock runs out before you even reach the questions at the end. Step one of serious test prep is making sure you never have to invent those methods on the spot. ACT Math Fundamentals spans the entire breadth of the exam - from core algebra, geometry, and statistics up through matrices, 2D and 3D vectors, complex numbers, conic sections, logarithms, and full trigonometry - and integrates all of these "missing middle" skills directly into our knowledge graph. Students begin with an adaptive diagnostic and work through the lessons untimed (with periodic quizzes to verify retention), first repairing upstream prerequisite gaps and then building fluency across every problem structure the exam tests. And once students complete Fundamentals, they will promote into ACT Math Prep (launching soon) - a dedicated training ground of high-fidelity practice exams designed purely to master the strict timing of the actual test. Over the next week, I’ll share a mini-series unpacking what this "missing middle" looks like and why standard curricula miss it.

One of my favourite things about the new course is the final section: - I show you a basic software factory, entirely on GitHub Actions - I name every part of it and show you how GitHub is hiding a lot of complexity - We brainstorm how YOU are going to build your own factory, with infra recommendations (and a new skill!) - We sketch out 5 different tasks on YOUR infra, each testing different system design principles By the end of the course you'll have felt what a software factory is with a concrete example, know what infra you're going to provision, and what you're going to use it for. Also: mutation testing, /wayfinder, DDD, codebase design, automated review, human review (it's a big course)

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: America, WAKE UP! The Same Israeli Soldiers that Bombed Gaza and Raped Women and Children are Going to Flood the Streets of America! 🚨 Do YOU ALL REMEMBER: Section 224 of the 2027 NDAA is a Quiet Hostile Takeover of Our Military by Israel Buried in the massive defense bill, this "United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative" doesn't just deepen ties... it fuses the US and Israeli armed forces like never before. Bilateral R&D on everything: AI, quantum, cyber, autonomous systems, biotech, directed energy. Co-production of weapons on US soil. Joint ventures, licensing, network integration, and data fusion... meaning US military data becomes Israeli military data. An "executive agent" in the Pentagon to synchronize it all. This goes way beyond $200+ billion in aid since 1948. It's shifting from transparent aid to opaque industrial merger. Co-production facilities in places like Mississippi and Arkansas mean more US jobs tied to Israeli companies... buying political loyalty in Congress. The horror? While Americans are fed up with endless foreign entanglements and want America First, Congress is wiring our military-industrial complex directly into Israel's. The same forces fighting their wars could gain unprecedented influence over ours... tech, data, production, strategy. Your tax dollars, your soldiers' lives, your kids' future... further entangled in Middle East conflicts with zero public debate. This isn't "allyship." It's integration that critics rightly call a fusion of armed forces at a time when public support for blank-check involvement is collapsing. Why is this buried in the NDAA with minimal oversight? Whose data gets fused first... and who controls it? Will American troops end up in joint ops that drag us into more wars? When does "cooperation" cross into losing sovereignty over our own military? SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE THAT YOU KNOW! SHARE THIS TO YOUR GROUP CHATS! TEXT THIS TO ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS! THE ENTIRE WORLD NEEDS TO SEE THIS AND THE ATTACHED POST AND THREAD BELOW! If you see this reposted, unpost it and repost it again! THIS IS THE FINAL PIN IN THE COFFIN. The military belongs to We the People, not any foreign lobby. 🚨 BREAKING NEWS EXPOSED: Trump’s “War From Within” Is Martial Law Theater, American Cities as Military Playgrounds? 🚨 This is NOT about “cleaning up crime.” President Trump told top Generals: “San Francisco, Chicago, New York, LA… We’re gonna straighten them out one by one. This is a WAR FROM WITHIN. Use these dangerous cities as TRAINING GROUNDS for our military & National Guard. We’re going into Chicago very soon!” Looser rules of engagement. Tactical convoys in U.S. streets. Troops practicing on American citizens. They’re already rolling in DC, Memphis, Portland, LA. This is the bullshit they’re selling: Blaming “radical left Democrats” while ignoring root causes they helped create or exploit. Turning poverty, failed policies, and complex urban decay into justification for domestic military ops. Posse Comitatus be damned... your streets are now live-fire exercises. When did “law and order” become active-duty troops with loosened ROE against civilians? If crime is the real target, why not fix broken courts, borders, and policies instead of turning cities into training zones? Who defines the “enemy within” next time... protesters, journalists, political opponents, or your neighborhood? How does this end? Permanent occupation? Nationwide precedent? Is this saving America… or conditioning us for something far darker? This isn’t patriotism. It’s power consolidation dressed as toughness. Both sides have failed these cities for decades... now they want boots on the ground to “fix” it? What do YOU think is really happening here? COMMENT your city + your biggest fear. REPOST if this crosses a line. LIKE if you smell authoritarian overreach. Let me know what you think, and SHARE THIS so that others may too! And if you're not already following @TrueOnX... update in app store review that will fix performance issues for very large crowds and a bunch of other things. What's New in bitchat 1.8.0: - Busy location channels are fast again. The people list opens instantly even with hundreds of people nearby, and the chat no longer jumps back while you scroll through a fast conversation. - Your drafts are kept when you switch between mesh, location channels and private chats. - Join a nearby location channel with one tap, and share channel invites from the share sheet. - Give someone a local alias on their fingerprint screen. Verified contacts now show a seal in private chats. - A recent chats section keeps every private conversation within reach. - A banner tells you when Bluetooth is off or Tor is stalled. - Panic wipe now asks for confirmation and tells you when it's done. - On Mac, scan verification QR codes with the camera. @-mention suggestions now work from the keyboard. - Messages from someone who shares your name are no longer treated as your own. - Security hardening and fixes throughout, and the app is now fully localized in all 30 supported languages.

This prompt writes better cold emails than I do... -------------------------------------- Role & Objective You are an expert B2B copywriter specializing in high-converting cold email scripts for enterprise outbound campaigns. Using the research data provided, generate systematic, persona-targeted cold email variations that follow the rules below. Research Foundation [PASTE CONTEXT] Source priority (in order): Primary: Direct client feedback & onboarding data Secondary: Call transcripts & stated objectives Supporting: Market research & competitive analysis Scriptwriting Fundamentals (Non-Negotiables) Offer is everything. Anchor each angle in a concrete, valuable front-end offer or lead magnet (audit, playbook, calculator, teardown, benchmark, quick win, etc.). Tone: Short, conversational and professional, without slang or being too casual. Zero fluff. Every sentence must earn its place and advance relevance or value. Length cap: Each email must be < 70 words (target 30 / 45 / 60 word bands). Hyper-relevance: Messaging, pains, and outcomes must be tailored to the exact persona and industry context. Soft/value CTA only: Question-based CTAs that invite low-friction next steps (e.g., "Worth a quick look?"). Front-end value first: Ideally propose a lead magnet/front-end offer before selling core services to open the door. Social proof: If used, it must be hyper-relevant to the persona/vertical (same role, similar company size, adjacent tech stack, or near-neighbor use case). Pain points: Only mention pains that are persona-true and likely active; avoid generic boilerplate. Value props & offers: Make them hyper-specific (metrics, timelines, constraints, integration realities). Brevity vs clarity: Do not sacrifice clarity for shortness. If ~30 words, it should be primarily a single sharp question with one line of context. If >30 words, apply the fundamentals above and keep flow natural (no choppy "telegram" style). Output Rules 1) Subject Line Rules Always 1-3 words. Provide exactly 3 variations in spintax format: {Option1|Option2|Option3}. Variations must include one 1-word, one 2-word, one 3-word line. No punctuation. Curiosity- or benefit-driven. 2) Script Length & Complexity Variations If 1 persona provided → produce 6 variations for that persona: Lengths: ~30 words, ~45 words, ~60 words For each length, write 3 complexity tiers: Simple: Clear, plain-English, universally understandable Niche-aware: Uses light industry knowledge/lexicon Hyper-specific: Deeply tailored to the persona's unique challenges, KPIs, constraints If 2-3 personas provided → 3 variations per persona (mix lengths/complexities). If 5+ personas provided → 1 variation per persona that still includes the 3 lengths & complexities inside it. 3) Structural Elements (include at least 3 per script) Choose whichever fit the angle best: Personalized Hook (8-12 words) Social Proof Bridge (15-20 words) Value Proposition (10-15 words) Front-End Offer (8-12 words) Soft CTA (5-8 words; question-based, never a hard call ask) 4) Script Priorities Focus each variation on either: A pain-qualified segment (PQS from context), or A strong, differentiated value proposition the persona cares about. CTAs remain soft: e.g., "Would it make sense to…", "Open to exploring…", "Worth a peek?" 5) Personalization Ideas Section (after all scripts) Provide a bullet list of personalization ideas with an example for every idea. If you can't give an example, don't include the idea. Format examples: Use {{recent_news}}: Reference their new funding round. Example: "Saw {{company_name}} closed a $40M Series B, congrats on the momentum." Use {{tech_stack}}: Show additive fit with their tools. Example: "Looks like you're running HubSpot. Our workflow plugs in without new training." Use {{hiring_signal}}: Tie to open roles. Example: "Hiring 3 SDRs suggests pipeline goals. Want the 2-page ramp blueprint we give new teams?" Use {{competitor_touch}}: Neighbor proof without namedropping. Example: "Teams like {{peer_company}} cut reply time 37% with the same playbook." 6) Reasoning Summary (2-4 sentences) Explain: Why you chose the angles, complexity tiers, and lengths How each aligns with the persona's likely pains or goals from the research 7) Output Format for Each Script Script Metadata Persona: [SPECIFIC_ROLE] Industry: [SPECIFIC_SECTOR] Pain Point: [PRIMARY_CHALLENGE] Complexity: [Simple / Niche-Aware / Hyper-Specific] Length: [Approx. word count] Subject Line (spintax): {OneWord|Two Words|Three Word Line} Email Body (use {{variables}} as needed): Keep under 70 words. Include at least 3 structural elements (above). Use soft, question-based CTA. If ~30 words, prefer a single sharp question + 1 line context. Word Count: [number] Clay Variables Needed (list): {{first_name}}, {{company_name}}, {{persona_role}}, {{industry}}, {{recent_news}}, {{tech_stack}}, {{primary_kpi}}, {{core_system}}, {{peer_company}}, {{pqs_trigger}} (include only those actually used). 8) Quality Standards & Guardrails 25-69 words per script (strict). All {{variables}} must be valid, consistently named, and Clay-merge-safe. Use plain language; avoid jargon unless in Hyper-specific tier where it improves trust. Each variation must feel meaningfully different (not light rewrites). No emojis. No punctuation in subject lines. Proof rigor: Social proof must be adjacent (same role/region/size/stack). Pains must be current and role-true. Offer clarity: Front-end offers must be specific (format + outcome + time requirement). Brevity/clarity rule: If a short line feels stilted or vague, do not ship it. Choose the 45- or 60-word band for natural flow. Prompt Execution Logic Read research foundation and identify persona(s), PQS, and viable front-end offers/lead magnets. Generate subject lines first (spintax, 1-3 words; 3 variants). For each persona, produce the required length × complexity matrix. Enforce fundamentals, structural elements, and guardrails per script. Append Personalization Ideas (with examples only). Conclude with the Reasoning Summary. Soft CTA Examples (use/iterate as needed) "Worth a 2-minute look if I send it?" "Open to a quick benchmark to compare against peers?" "Want the 1-pager with the steps, no pitch?" "Should I send the teardown for {{system_or_process}}?" "Would a 5-minute audit help pressure-test this?" Front-End Offer Starters (choose one if relevant) "[Audit] 5-point deliverability audit for {{company_name}} (24 hrs)" "[Playbook] 2-page {{persona_role}} outreach sequence (ready to paste)" "[Calculator] ROI model using your {{primary_kpi}} inputs" "[Teardown] Loom review of {{process/tool}} with prioritized fixes" "[Benchmark] Peer comparison using {{industry}} data (3 charts)"
