Ben Johnson is elite at the art of play calling. This is different than standing in front of the chalk board to install. This requires feel for a game. I've never bought the notion that once the game plan has been made, "anybody can call it, most of the work has been done". This is one of the biggest fallacies in football.12651K49K

Similar Words. Different Tech. #01 Sequencer vs. Proposer vs. Builder These three terms come up frequently in Ethereum and rollup discussions. They all play a role in transaction processing, but they handle different responsibilities. Here's the difference. 1️⃣ Sequencer - Orders L2 Transactions A sequencer receives transactions, determines their order, and typically produces L2 blocks. Most traditional rollups use a dedicated sequencer, often operated by a single entity. This enables fast confirmations but concentrates transaction-ordering control. 2️⃣ Builder - Constructs L1 Blocks A builder selects, orders, and packages transactions into an Ethereum execution block. Builders optimize block construction to capture transaction fees and MEV (Maximal Extractable Value). Multiple builders can compete to offer the most valuable block to an Ethereum proposer. 3️⃣ Proposer - Proposes L1 Blocks Ethereum selects a validator to propose a block in each 12-second slot. The proposer either builds the block locally or selects one from an external builder, typically through MEV-Boost. It signs and broadcasts the block, while other validators attest through Ethereum's consensus process. How do they work together? Traditional rollup: User → L2 Sequencer → L2 Execution → Batches posted to Ethereum Ethereum L1: Transactions → Builder → Proposer → Consensus 4️⃣ What changes with Puffer UniFi? @puffer_unifi is designed around based sequencing, where canonical L2 transaction ordering is determined through Ethereum L1 rather than an independent L2 sequencer. It introduces two important components: • Gateways: Specialized operators that sequence L2 transactions and provide fast execution preconfirmations. @googlecloud and @gattacahq are registered gateways on @puffer_preconf. • Puffer Preconf: Provides signed execution commitments in milliseconds, backed by staked economic security. In this proposer-delegated based sequencing model, Ethereum proposers delegate sequencing rights to gateways, allowing them to provide fast preconfirmations ahead of L1 block inclusion. Simplified transaction flow: User → Gateway → Preconfirmation + L2 Execution → Ethereum L1 Settlement Puffer UniFi uses gateways and Puffer Preconf to bring fast transaction execution to an Ethereum-aligned rollup architecture.318222

EEZ went live with their docs and three demos. Extending the L1 is a recurring theme across the demos: - Tapping liquidity from the L1 for a CoW order - Using L1 as root of trust for a Safe owner change - Authorising an L1 transfer from a rollup Increasing L1 utility deepens its function as a centre of gravity for the Ethereum economy. Similar Words. Different Tech. #03 Traditional Sequenced Rollups vs. Based Rollups Most Ethereum rollups rely on Ethereum for settlement, but they don't necessarily rely on Ethereum for transaction ordering. So who actually decides which transactions go first? 1️⃣ Traditional Sequenced Rollups Most rollups operate their own sequencer, often controlled by a single organization. The sequencer receives transactions, determines their order, and produces L2 blocks. This enables fast confirmations, but transaction ordering is controlled by infrastructure separate from Ethereum's validators. 2️⃣ Based Rollups Based rollups take a different approach. Instead of relying on an independent L2 sequencer for canonical ordering, they derive it from Ethereum L1. This aligns sequencing with Ethereum's proposer and builder infrastructure. But there's an important distinction: Based sequencing doesn't automatically mean fast confirmations or synchronous composability. These require additional mechanisms. 3️⃣ How @puffer_unifi Approaches This Puffer UniFi is designed to combine Ethereum-aligned sequencing with fast execution and cross-layer composability. Its stack brings together: • Based sequencing: Ethereum L1-derived canonical ordering, with proposer delegation on the roadmap. • @puffer_preconf: Gateway-based execution commitments that provide early transaction assurance before L1 settlement. • Signal Service: Designed to enable same-slot L1→L2 communication. • Multi-TEE proving: Supports rapid verification of L2 execution for cross-layer operations. Together, these components aim to make applications more responsive while enabling tighter interaction with Ethereum L1 liquidity and smart contracts. The takeaway: Traditional vs. based sequencing is about who controls transaction ordering. Fast confirmations and synchronous composability are separate engineering challenges. Puffer UniFi is designed to address all three.10569

One protocol that treats DNA, RNA and protein sequences the way git treats code: content-addressed, versioned, diffable, auditable. Two layers. The separation is the point. 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝟭 — 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 The 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲 (𝗚𝗥𝗖𝗵𝟯𝟴) — every base, in full, in chain state on GenesisL1. Not a hash. Not a pointer. A full human genome as a diff is 𝟭𝟬–𝟮𝟬 𝗠𝗕 — and thousands of genomes on chain become routine. At launch: the 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲 (𝗚𝗥𝗖𝗵𝟯𝟴) + 𝟭𝟮 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀. Next: 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ public genomes, then Swiss-Prot, RefSeq, UniRef50, IMGT/HLA and antibody repertoires. Not theory. GenesisL1 already holds 𝟭𝗠+ PDB and AlphaFold structures in chain state (MolNFT). Ten thousand followers in ninety days is not a content problem. It's a distribution problem wearing a content costume. The founders who actually get there start with one market problem that can produce a post every single day. Month one, I would not mention the product once. Nobody cares yet. I'd publish around the pain it solves, broken workflows, expensive manual work, revenue quietly leaking out the side door. Skip this part and the launch happens to a room that was never warmed up. The product looks average because nobody understood the problem it was solving. The content itself wouldn't come from a whiteboard. It would come from sales calls, demo drop offs, support tickets, and the comment section. If the same objection shows up three times in a week, that's not feedback. That's tomorrow's post. I wouldn't chase reach on every post. A post built for shares looks different from one built for demo requests, and stacking every goal into one caption is how you end up with a post that gets seen and forgotten in the same scroll. Pick the one job before you write the caption, not after. Publishing isn't the finish line, it's the starting gun. Real replies. Founder to founder conversations. Podcast clips. Newsletter repurposing. Employees reposting with their own take. One good post, worked properly, becomes ten distribution assets. I'd track this before I ever tracked followers: Are founders quoting the content on sales calls? Are investors engaging more than once? Are prospects showing up to the demo already convinced? The day those three signals show up in the same week, the follower count stops being the target and starts being math you don't need to check anymore. #StartupMarketing #AIStartups #GrowthMarketing #FounderBranding #ContentStrategy #B2BMarketing #SaaSMarketing1039162108K
