RT @SquawkStreet: CNBC EXCLUSIVE: $HOOD CEO @vladtenev says the company’s crypto business is diversifying despite a slowdown in trading.
“Crypto is in a relative winter. That said, Robinhood Chain… has been a top-five chain in the industry, with over $100B in decentralized trading volume.”

RT @carlquintanilla: GOLDMAN:
“.. we are starting to see clearer signs that the AI impact is spreading beyond the technology sector. .. the share of US firms that have adopted AI in regular business functions now shows a statistically significant negative correlation with employment growth ..”

RT @baseten: With open models, we can build safety tooling directly into the inference layer.
Our CEO and co-founder @tuhinone sat down with @kr00ney at @cnbc to discuss Project Beacon, and our work with @GoodfireAI to make safety the default for open intelligence.
Scoop: OpenAI is closing in on a funding round of up to $30 billion at a $1.25 trillion (pre-money) valuation, led by UAE investors and Coatue
Alongside the new investment, OpenAI is negotiating a commercial deal that would secure more computing capacity from the UAE, according to one person. Full @CNBC report here:

We're opening Claude Duet today as a research preview, starting with a waitlist. It's our take on giving everyone a trusted partner with your work.
I've been using it for a few weeks, at work and at home. It drafted questions for a fireside chat, watched Slack over the weekend so I could log off, and told me about the new @nealstephenson book — and then ordered it from my local bookstore once I asked.
We've found Opus 5.5 was our first model with the judgment to be proactive in the right ways. Here's what that's looked like.

RT @bobmcgrewai: We started Arda in 2025 to speed up American manufacturing. We have spent the last year building with Anduril as our design partner. Today we are launching the company publicly on CNBC and announcing our Series A: $160M at a $1.5B valuation.
Our platform helps manufacturers design and operate manual assembly lines, putting designs into production faster now. Next we'll build automated lines that can be reconfigured as quickly as human workers, letting America make products that now require armies of workers in Asia.
RT @AndrewCurran_: Bob McGrew, OpenAI's former Chief Research Officer, has raised $230 million at a $1.5 billion valuation for his startup, Arda.
He said their agent 'does for manufacturing engineers what Claude or Cursor does for programmers' and is already being used by Anduril.
RT @pxd: We’ve been talking about how the industrial wave is coming. With @Arda_Industries, it’s officially here.
Today, Arda comes out of stealth with an AI agent that turns CAD files into assembly instructions. It’s already been deployed across every division at @anduriltech, reducing engineering workflows from 30 hours to 2.5.
That's step one of a three-act plan. Next: use those instructions to train robotic production lines that adapt quickly to new designs. Then: make it possible to build anything domestically.
Thrilled that we at @Felicis have joined this round. More at @felicis:
Exclusive: Former OpenAI exec @bobmcgrewai has quietly built $1.5 billion startup, betting AI can revive U.S. manufacturing
McGrew’s newest company, Arda, has raised $230 million at a $1.5 billion valuation and makes AI software he says can help bring manufacturing back onshore.

We’re committing a portion of Anthropic’s shares to the Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a new wholly owned entity dedicated entirely to the public benefit.
It will start off with 5% of our shares. For every 50% increase in the company’s value over a set baseline, we can contribute up to an extra 2%, subject to our board’s discretion.
In total, this means that roughly 20% of Anthropic’s shares are committed to the public good. Our co-founders have already pledged to donate 80% of their equity, and around half our employees are donating a portion of their equity as part of a donation matching program we’ve run since our founding.
In the post below, we share more details about our new fund.

RT @firesidealpha: Brad Gerstner predicts an Anthropic IPO could draw more than $500 billion in demand and says whether it prices at $1.5 trillion or $2 trillion is irrelevant
“I suspect if they choose to come public, there’s going to be tremendous demand based on everything I know about the company.
“In the SpaceX IPO, I think it was a $100 billion offering. You had, I think, about $350 billion of demand for that offering, and the stock has done incredibly well coming out of that.
“I suspect here you would have over $500 billion in demand for this offering.
“Where it prices, I don’t really care. Is it at $1.5 trillion? Is it at $1.75 trillion? Is it at $2 trillion? Those things are irrelevant if you’re going to own the stock over the next year or two.”

Brad Gerstner says the mood in the room among Anthropic’s largest investors was “9 or 10 out of 10” bullish and the company’s IPO process made him more positive, not less
“Well, I can’t get into anything that was said in the room yesterday, but what I will share is this.
“If I had to do a vibe check coming out of the room, I found it very fascinating. You had a lot of the most important investors in the world in the room, and I would say the vibe check was a nine or a 10 out of 10, very bullish in terms of how they feel about this company.
“Now, they’re probably looking at it over a one-, two- or three-year time horizon, not over the next 30 days.
“If you look at what was reported that was said in the room, the reaction in the market to that was quite negative--or at least my interpretation of it was quite negative.
“So you had this asymmetry between, I think, how people feel about it.
“Certainly, from an Altimeter perspective, the information I’ve gathered over the last few weeks, including yesterday, makes me more bullish on Anthropic, their IPO and the road ahead--not less bullish.
“But they’re going to have to wait until they flip the S-1 and can share some of that information with the world and do their roadshow.
“I can’t wait for this company to get public because retail investors are going to be excited about this, and long-only funds, mutual funds, sovereigns and lots of folks should get the chance to invest in this business.”
