Great Men of history are depressed. The personality that builds empires is not the same personality driven by a happy feel-good ethos. Especially in their 20s many of them are depressed. A few examples from history: - Napoleon wrote an entire paper called "On Suicide" when he was 16. - Hamilton wrote to his friend around the same age that he "wished there was a war" so that he could make his name. - Winston Churchill wrote countless letters to his mother about Loneliness while at school. - Abraham Lincoln was constantly writing about how his heart yearned for greatness, but his reality didn't reflect it. This was before he became president. - Caesar weeped at a statue of Alexander the Great because he hadn't accomplished as much him by age 30. This is a recurring pattern you see throughout history. Many greats are depressed in their youth. And often times, this is their driver towards action. They deal with their pain through pure action.

Macron believes he is Napoleon Bonaparte; in reality, he is a useless idiot.

Do you actually think people in France and the west in general don’t joke on Napoleon? 💀

How Napoleon Reads: "For every subject he encountered, Napoleon jotted down what seemed most important to remember. He read fast, and cut to the essential, often skipping whole passages to get to what he believed was the nucleus of the subject. He often misinterpreted books entirely."

"Napoleon, how do you plan on fixing the country?" Napoleon:

"When a king feels that his people are about to rebel, he declares war on another country." - Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoléon was the only important figure involved in the french revolution that didn't look like an ugly, diseased, dysgenic freak.

Never get too sad or too cocky! These 2 pictures show Napoleon at his lowest point in prison (1794) and his highest point as Emperor (1804). Things change. #staypositive #evenkeeled #upsanddowns

People don't understand what True Greatness is. They larp about Alexander the Great, and Napoleon, and Elon Musk. But they have no idea how these people actually work. The philosophers have been talking about the Great Man archetype for thousands of years. Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche, Hegel, Emerson, and Carlyle understand Greatness better than anyone. I personally read over 1,000 pages of their works studying this archetype. In this episode I go over one question: What Truly Makes A Man Great? Once again, this video is not for the commoners. Only for those seeking greatness. Enjoy. 00:00 Intro 00:41 Defining Greatness 15:09 Examples Of Greatness 27:41 Paradox Of Greatness 35:02 Should You Seek Greatness 41:15 How To Become Great
