We are not slowing down. 🚀 Our Artemis III mission will send four astronauts to low Earth orbit next year to test critical systems needed for future lunar landings and we’re accelerating efforts to ensure the success of Artemis IV, the first Artemis mission on the lunar surface

The @NASAWebb telescope recently spotted stars brewing in this cosmic cauldron. This region of toil and trouble, named N159, is 161,000 light-years from Earth, in the Large Magellanic Cloud.

Have you put up your Halloween decor? The night sky will add the finishing touch. 🌕 October’s full moon, named the Hunter’s Moon, will rise on the night of Oct. 26. Its name comes from the seasonal practice of hunters relying on bright moonlight.

Earth at night viewed from space.

No tricks, just a celestial treat. 🌕🎃 The Hunter’s Moon rises tonight, bringing a little extra glow to Halloween week! This full Moon gets its name from the time of year when hunters traditionally used the moonlight to track game and prepare for winter. Rising around sunset, the Moon will illuminate the night sky, weather permitting. Don’t forget to look up tonight!

Congrats SpaceX team!

Q3 2026 highlights: - Delivered revenue of $14.6 billion, up 161% year-over-year - Successfully launched our first revenue-generating Starship mission, delivering 26 Starlink V3 satellites to our broadband constellation, representing approximately 10x the downlink capacity added by a Falcon 9 Starlink launch - Added $6.7 billion of incremental Super Intelligence solutions and infrastructure revenue year-over-year, driven by cloud services agreements, the acquisition of Cursor, and our growing SI models and software applications, including @Grok @Bot - Delivered year-over-year revenue growth of 69% and income from operations growth of 99% for the Connectivity segment, supported by strong momentum in enterprise and government adoption, and continued @Starlink consumer subscriber growth - Continued to scale nameplate compute, reaching 1.7 GW as of September 30, 2026

Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.

Qazi is genuinely such a pure soul. 🥹❤️ Even when people stoop low with him, he never loses his goodness. He respects everyone’s privacy, personal space, and boundaries instead of poking his nose into their lives. That’s the beauty of his heart. 🫶🏻👑 #QaziTouqeer #BiggBoss20

Today I want to highlight one piece I'm planning to "forget" and never interact with throughout the 7-year duration of this series. It is nothing new to state that (the lack of proper) security in Mexico has been a huge issue for many years now. Actually, as long as I can remember, it's been one, if not THE, largest perceived problem for people who live here. However, I had never experienced anything extreme (outside of the regular assaults and robberies that unfortunately I believe every Mexican has experienced at least once) in my life. At least until recently. This piece was inspired by a shooting that my wife, my friends, and I experienced last year. During a night out at a bar, probably still before midnight, we were having drinks, chatting and singing to 00s Spanish pop out of our lungs. All of a sudden, multiple loud bangs echoed back and forth at the place. As we are taught from an early age, every single person at the bar threw themselves to the floor trying to become one with the tile surface. I clearly remember looking around (even with an obstructed view due to my face being basically at the ground), and feeling trapped beneath the underside of the metal table above me, boxed in among a sea of feet, hands and contorted bodies. "Where is the shooting coming from? How's my wife doing? Is this over? What the hell should we do now to be safe?" Crawling as fast and as low as we could, my group and I rushed to the kitchen at the back of the bar, where dozens of humans were packed like sardines in a 12x12 ft space. It wasn't until we heard the sirens and saw the police that we rushed outside to grab the keys of our cars and to shakily drive back home after such an awful event. Definitely one of my worst recent memories, and one I wish I could forget for obvious reasons. At least now I get to do so symbolically. Thank you for reading. Unfinished Past #7

I took a picture of every full moon of the year and combined them into a half-second video. Watch the moon dance away 2020! #astrophotography #space #opteam

Deployment of 27 @Starlink satellites confirmed

This view just hits different 🌍 @Astro_Christina and @astro_reid take a moment to look back at Earth as they continue deep into space toward the Moon.

This Webb caught a giant space tarantula! 🕸️ Take a moment to stare into thousands of never-before-seen young stars in the Tarantula Nebula. @NASAWebb reveals details of the structure and composition of the nebula, as well as background galaxies:

Chapter 2: Meet Big Iron Our 1 MW satellite design: • 5 racks of GPUs • 6 laser links at 1.2 Tb/s each • About 132 meters across when deployed • The upper stage becomes the satellite A deployed span longer than an American football field.

Wake up, babe. @NASAWebb dropped a new infrared image of Saturn. On June 25, the space telescope detected the planet’s faint moons and looked at its icy rings. Methane gas in Saturn’s atmosphere absorbs light, so it appears darker here.
