🧩 Built an MCP that lets Claude talk directly to Blender. It helps you create beautiful 3D scenes using just prompts! Here’s a demo of me creating a “low-poly dragon guarding treasure” scene in just a few sentences👇

RT @rsms: “designing much faster than the others” — this so daft and makes it clear they don’t understand design at all. “Designing fast” (or slow) is just not a thing. If you conflate “producing ui by piecing together stuff” and “design” then the former (which is a form of assembly-line practice) can surely be fast or slow. What makes the practice of design challenging is not how to put a ui or poster together, it’s what the pieces are, what the message is, what is being communicated, how it all works together. So many of today’s “design” AI tools focus almost exclusively on the production part, on putting stuff together. I’d love to see an AI design tool that forms a deep understanding of a problem over the course of days or months and works like a creative partner. Call me on my bullshit, thinks about the whole, isn’t concerned really about the final arrangement of elements as much as it would understand the story and the message.

Revolut's designers are moving off Figma. Storonsky spotted one team designing much faster than the others. What they did: 1. Gave an LLM Revolut's design system at the code level 2. Prompted it to build new flows on top of that system 3. Got a live interface they can click through on a laptop or phone, instead of static frames Result: 3-4x faster. Now he's pushing it to every designer at Revolut. His job, as he describes it: find what works in one team and spread it across the company. Full breakdown here:

RT @karrisaarinen: The story of tech and design: In 1976, Apple figured out that design, taste, and quality make better products. Ever since, everyone in tech has wanted to be like Apple and “do design,” while remaining completely oblivious to what design, quality and taste actually means

RT @MeshyAI: Bring your Meshy key to MCP for Blender 🔑 Ask your agent for a model and it lands in your Blender scene, textured and standing on the floor at real-world scale. Built into MCP for Blender by @sidahuj 👇

Excited to announce we've teamed up with Meshy to bring their 3D generation into MCP for Blender. Their 3D generation is best-in-class and great for creating game assets.

It feels like Genie 3 just released but also like it was 10 years ago
    Google DeepMind @GoogleDeepMind
This is Genie 4, our most realistic and interactive world model yet. 🌐 Explore dynamic environments in real time to see how the scene responds, sounds, and how the people in it move, react, and speak.

RT @TimSweeneyEpic: When I was writing Unreal Engine 1, my time was divided as follows: - Around 30% went to seriously deep coding on hard problems: assembly language texture mappers, C++ BSP trees, data persistence, object oriented systems design, and networking. - Around 70% was just typing and refactoring large bodies of code needed for a complete engine feature set. This was not hard, and while I was doing it my mind was mostly on the deeper coding topics, thinking and planning for what's next. It didn't feel much different from vibe coding today, except that it was just me typing code on an IBM Model M keyboard rather than prompting it and reviewing the results. So, it has always seemed perfectly logical that we would rely on AI for that 70%, once the AI could do it with a similar quality standard as we could, which has never been perfection. It came as no surprise that, after a few years of AI model evolution, it was able to take the reigns on that 70% and free up programmers' time for more valuable tasks. What's more of a surprise is the emergence of AI as a sort of insta-Carmack able to solve hard technical problems quite cleverly and often cleanly, and that it's able to reason about and work in complex 3D scenes both by operating the tools and by directly understanding the raw data files. I abandoned assembly language in 1998 when out-of-order CPUs made much simpler C/C++ code faster, and never I missed it. If prompting through architectural documents, concept art, and design plans can transcend typing code and tweaking vertices, that will enable developers to spend their time on higher-level, higher value technical and creative tasks. What matters is the end product, whether it's a game or an engine. Anything developers can do to try out more ideas and make better software and games faster is a win for everyone.
