RT @_The_Prophet__: ⚡️Raoul is identifying a profound economic inversion: AI is making intelligence abundant while turning deliberate human effort into a luxury signal. The Prada example reveals something bigger than a preference for handmade art. For centuries, humans were valuable because their labor was necessary to produce things. AI is beginning to remove that necessity across enormous portions of the cognitive economy. Now something strange happens. When a machine can produce a beautiful illustration in seconds, spending weeks having humans draw it becomes a statement of economic power. The inefficiency itself becomes part of the luxury. Prada is effectively signaling that it can afford to reject the cheapest and fastest means of production. In a world obsessed with optimization, the ability to choose inefficiency becomes a form of status. But here is the contradiction that makes this genuinely interesting. The same AI revolution that reduces the market value of ordinary illustrators can increase the prestige of a hand-drawn illustration commissioned by an elite luxury brand. The artist’s labor becomes less economically scarce across the broader market, while the brand’s ability to package that labor as something exceptional becomes more valuable. The scarcity premium migrates from the creator toward whoever controls the meaning, provenance and distribution of the creation. That is a much larger shift. AI can imitate brushstrokes, imperfections, texture and artistic style. Eventually, the visual appearance of human effort tells you almost nothing about its origin. So verifiable authorship itself becomes valuable. And this is where Raoul’s deflation thesis needs one more layer. AI drives down the cost of reproducible cognition. But that does not guarantee economy-wide deflation. The purchasing power released from cheap intelligence competes for things that remain constrained: physical resources, energy, desirable locations, trusted relationships, original experiences and scarce human attention. The resulting economy becomes increasingly polarized. Some forms of human work lose their scarcity premiums. Other forms acquire extraordinary premiums because people deliberately choose them despite cheaper alternatives. And the deeper inversion is almost philosophical: For most of history, human effort was valuable because it was required. In the AI economy, certain forms of human effort become valuable precisely because they are no longer required. That is what Prada is beginning to commercialize. The next luxury economy will increasingly sell something machines can imitate but cannot establish on their own: The credible history of a human being having actually done the work. And whoever owns the trust surrounding that history will capture much of the premium.

RT @CutMyTaxUK: The number of UK businesses facing financial distress has hit its highest level in more than 20 years. Insolvency specialists BTG's Red Flag Alert report revealed that 738,144 businesses were in significant financial distress in the third quarter of 2026, the highest number since its began in 2004. Separate research from Novuna Business Finance found that 86% of small businesses fear that Budget announcements will negatively affect their finances and growth prospects and only 26% expect their business to grow this year. Healey's budget should roll back the Starmer-Reeves tax attacks on business if it is to have any positive effect on economic growth.

RT @RealNickMugalli: Microsoft $MSFT reports after the bell today. Last quarter, Azure grew 43%, faster than the quarter before and passed $100bn of annual revenue for the first time. Copilot has 30mn+ paid seats. Tonight Microsoft has guided sales to $89.85–90.95bn, up ~16%, and the Street expects EPS of ~$4.71. There’s one number that matters and what would the stock which is Azure. If it holds in the 40s while new data centers come online, the “is AI paying off?” debate is over. Microsoft is spending $40bn+ a quarter and so far the revenue is keeping pace. PT $625. Overweight.

SK hynix, $SKHY reports earnings tonight. The Street expects operating profit of ~₩77tn on margins near 80%. A year ago it was ₩11.4tn. That’s nearly 7x in twelve months (unreal growth btw). The reason is HBM. Every Nvidia GPU needs it, SK hynix has about half the market and it’s first in line for HBM4 on Vera Rubin. Memory prices are still rising across the board DRAM up ~22% and NAND ~15% last quarter. The beat is mostly priced in. What moves the stock is what mgmt says about 2027 pricing and HBM4 volumes. PT $400. Overweight.

RT @RealNickMugalli: HOLY SHIT!!! $MSFT just ended the AI spending debate. Stock hits a new ath. Azure grew 48%. Expectations were 44.8%, last quarter was 43% and it's speeding up on a base of over $100bn a year. That is the most important number in tech tonight….we’re literally not bullish enough on AI folks. The rest is just as strong. Revenue was $92.3bn against $90.6bn expected, above the top of Microsoft's own guide. EPS came in at $4.92 against ~$4.71, and operating income at $45.9bn against $43.9bn. The part nobody saw coming imo, Microsoft spent $39.4bn on capex against ~$46bn expected, less than last quarter. Faster growth on less spending means every dollar Microsoft puts into AI is earning more than anyone modelled. For a year the bears asked when AI would pay off. Microsoft's answer is now faster growth, bigger profits and lower spend in the same quarter. PT $625. Overweight.

RT @suraj_sharma14: Nobody warns vibe coders about this part. You can ship an app in a weekend. You can also break 6 laws in that same weekend without knowing it. Here's what to check before you launch: 1.) Kids If signup doesn't ask for age and a child under 13 joins, COPPA fines can reach $53K per child. 2.) Fonts Loading Google Fonts from Google's servers sends visitor IPs to Google. A Munich court ordered a site to pay one visitor €100 for this under GDPR. 3.) Session replay Recording what users type without consent can count as wiretapping under California's CIPA, at up to $5K per violation. 4.) Launch emails No unsubscribe link or postal address breaks CAN-SPAM, at up to $53K per email. 5.) Subscriptions If renewal terms aren't right next to the button, California can treat renewals as unconditional gifts you have to refund. 6.) User uploads Without a registered DMCA agent, which costs $6, you lose safe harbor. Statutory damages can reach $150K per willfully infringed work. None of these cost much to fix. All of them cost a lot to ignore. Paste this into Claude before launch: "Check my app for: missing age gate, externally loaded fonts, session replay without consent, marketing emails without unsubscribe and address, renewal terms not beside the subscribe button and no DMCA agent. Fix what you can and list what I need to do myself." Not legal advice. Talk to a lawyer for your situation.

RT @rohanpaul_ai: Cognition has received investor offers valuing it at $70B to $80B and is seriously considering a round before year-end, though talks are early and terms could change. Those offers came weeks after Cognition raised more than $2B at a $48B valuation in September. At $70B to $80B, investors would pay about 78x to 89x that revenue figure, up from 53x at $48B. The range would also top the $60B SpaceX paid in stock for Cursor maker Anysphere, which passed $2B in annualized revenue by February. That deal took Cursor out of reach for venture investors, leaving Cognition among the few large independent coding-agent startups they can still buy into.

RT @martinvars: Y Combinator just published the list of startups it wants to fund next winter. One of them is AI for City Hall. In some American cities, YC writes, getting a building permit takes longer than building the house. By its own math, if every permit in the country were approved in a tenth of the time, cities would collect $16 billion more a year in property tax. There are 19,000 cities in America, and almost all of them still check drawings against the code by hand. I like the idea. My first company, while I was still at Columbia in the 1980s, redeveloped buildings in Tribeca and SoHo, so I have stood on the other side of that counter. But look at what the waiting actually costs. In 2021 the National Association of Home Builders surveyed more than 2,000 builders and found that regulation accounts for $93,870 of the price of an average new home, 23.8% of it. Only about $2,400 of that is the pure cost of delay. The rest is fees, building codes that keep changing, design standards beyond the ordinary, and land the government takes or forces you to leave empty. So AI can make City Hall faster. It cannot make it cheaper. A model that approves a bad rulebook in one day still leaves the same $94,000 inside the average new house, just sooner. The startup I would fund does both: it reads every permit, and it also measures what each rule costs the family that will buy the house. Then it publishes the numbers and lets voters decide which rules are worth paying for. Faster bureaucracy is progress. Less bureaucracy is reform.

RT @maxmarchione: I've always been obsessed with the idea of extending human life without actually having to live longer. Of the roughly 100 billion people who have lived on Earth, no one has lived past the age of 130. But there are thousands of people who can naturally sleep 4 hours (or less) a night, and still feel and perform as well as people who sleep 8. What this suggests is that one of the easiest ways to extend human life might not be adding more years to the end of it, but allowing us to be awake for more if it. Imagine this: You can sleep for 4 hours instead of 8 without compromising your health or energy. You gain 4 additional waking hours every single day. That's about 60 extra days of conscious life every year. From age 20 to 80 you would buy back close to a decade of waking life. And the good news is we're starting to see therapeutics being developed – sometimes peptides, sometimes small molecules – that could plausibly allow people to sleep 4 hours, but feel as if they've slept less. One things researchers are going after at the moment is orexin. Researchers studied natural short sleepers and found that they produce more orexin during the day than others. They called it a wakefulness peptide. Now, honestly -- I don't think orexin is fully going to get us there. Allowing people to feel more awake is one part of the sleep equation, but that doesn't automatically mean they need less sleep, but ways to improve the efficiency of sleep. And the main challenge is that we don't really understand what improves sleep efficiency yet. I genuinely believe we eventually get to a world where everyone can sleep less and, as a result, effectively live longer. I'm obsessed with this because I think this is one of the most fascinating frontiers in longevity. We spend so much time trying to live longer, but what if we could get more life out of the years we already have? I think we'll have an answer to this in the next 10 years.

The progression is simple: 10% → LLM 30% → Prompt 50% → Agent 70% → Loop 100% → Graph The key takeaway: AI engineering isn’t just about writing better prompts. It’s about building systems around models — giving them context, memory, tools, feedback loops, and data flows. “Delete everything, keep Graph.” Definitely worth watching if you’re building with AI agents.
