RT @TomkeyKong: Today we launch Heidi II. It is a clinical grade computer using agent, built from the ground up for safety and security in healthcare. Our first act was solving the clinical note. Notes alone cannot carry a clinic. Heidi II introduces five capabilities that allow us to complete the work that the visit starts: - A new Home that opens on your day, with context and patients already loaded. - Agents that help carry out work across the portals and systems you still navigate by hand. - Computer use that lets Heidi safely use your keyboard and mouse with healthcare guardrails to integrate with any system to complete a task - Memory that recalls your preferences and ways of working. - Peer-reviewed research from the likes of New England Journal of Medicine, Wiley, Cochrane and more. Imagine it's the end of a clinic for Maya, a primary care doctor in Sydney. Twenty-three sessions. Notes are done. What’s left is every follow-up those visits kicked off. Home opens on her day. She asks Heidi the way she’d ask a registrar: go through today’s sessions and tell me everything I committed to that still isn’t done. Heidi comes back with a plan. She approves it. Nine documents drafted. Referral letters, screening reminders, a callback script. Heidi does the work, Maya reviews and completes it. She tells it once that every pathology request goes to Alex Li at Sunset Clinic, and that sticks in Memory. She saves the whole sweep as a 5:30pm weekday Routine. Next morning, one chart is already prepped with a fever, a widespread rash, and facial swelling three weeks after starting lamotrigine. Maya wants to check whether it could be DRESS and decides to run the RegiSCAR calculator. Heidi surfaces the relevant evidence with citations inline and pulls the score from the record. Maya reviews it, makes the call to start steroids and refers her to hospital. We can finally use this technology to expand capacity in medicine without taking clinical judgment out of clinicians’ hands. Give the computer work back to the computer, you go back to healing. This is our second act. Rolling out today, comment if you want access or our team to reach out.

Medicine has never been short of expertise; it has been short of hours. Now, clinicians can focus completely on care. The rest is handled by Heidi.

RT @TomkeyKong: Today, Heidi (@tryheidi) is announcing US$340M in new funding: a US$100M Series C led by our very first believer, @blackbirdvc, alongside @phxcrt, @p72vc and @HeadlineVC and a US$240M growth investment from @generalcatalyst's Customer Value Fund. The round values Heidi at US$900M. Five years ago I sat in a hospital cafe in scrubs after a night on call and pitched Blackbird. I worked with so many incredible doctors burdened by the work created from our care. I believed that every clinician would partner with AI, to handle that workload so they could get to the next patient. Where Heidi is today is way beyond what I could have imagined then. Our team has grown to almost 600 people. We’ve supported over 175 million patient visits in some of the world’s leading and most highly regulated healthcare systems. That only comes from an incredibly talented and hard working team driven by the mission to double the world’s healthcare capacity. In this next chapter Heidi is becoming the AI Care Partner I imagined. Handling all the work that a visit creates for every clinician and extending what we can accomplish in a day. Next week we’ll show you what that looks like. It’s what we’ve been building towards since the very beginning.
