Cheap coins aren't trendy because they haven't made any noise yet

If Bitcoin just chops around 80K until April, my worst case for altcoins is a 10-15% drop off the high. Altcoins outside Bitcoin and Ethereum already fell to about 780 billion from the late September top. Can it drop another 5%? Sure. Is that a big deal? No

I don't need charts to know when Rhea and Aurora are at a good spot. They're two coins in the NEAR ecosystem, so as long as NEAR is in a correction, those two will be in a correction too

Which coin pumps the most this cycle? Smaller coins always pump more. A meme coin only has to tick up to beat Ethereum, and that doesn't make it a better coin. So I compare inside one basket, like the top 20 or the AI coins. My pick is AI, from the biggest coins to the tiny ones

Pre-IPO stock tokens are hard to trade because the shares are locked up. Before SpaceX listed, the easy way to bet on it was a Hyperliquid perp, a futures contract with no expiry. Anthropic already has one, about $115 a share. I think that brings more traders to HYPE

When I tell you to wait out a Bitcoin dip, I'm mostly talking to myself. It goes to 78K, 77K, whatever. Sooner or later it goes to 90K and my bags pump. I just have to be patient

My four rules of thumb for buying alts on a Bitcoin dip. Early in a bull run, all the coins should go up to some extent when Bitcoin finishes its correction. The hard part is deciding which alts will go up the most and are actually still cheap. Here's what I keep coming back to. 1. Don't buy a coin that went straight up. A chart like that has a lot more downside. Venice is my example. Maybe I'm totally wrong on this, but I still don't think Venice is a good bet right now, because it's just straight up. If you want that type of AI coin, find one similar to Venice that hasn't made that move yet. 2. Stick to legitimate coins. No shitcoins yet. Look for a coin with fundamental value, one that's been around for a while. 3. Aim for asymmetric bets inside a narrative. That means bets where the upside is much bigger than the downside. Ecosystem bets are how I'm playing it, like my bets on the NEAR and Zcash narrative. 4. Make sure your coin fell faster than Bitcoin. That's how I gauge how cheap an alt is. Ethereum is around 2,300. At that price, Bitcoin should already be at 75K to 76K. It's not there yet, so Ethereum has gone down faster than Bitcoin. That makes Ethereum cheap. So I have buy zones, and I know why they're buy zones. You don't need to buy only my favorite coins either. These are just ideas from what my brain understands. And honestly, I'm less confident in my altcoin picks than in Bitcoin. I'm way more confident that Bitcoin is in the right spot, and that's what brings everything up

I still keep a bit of cash for an altcoin panic. If Bitcoin hits 76K something, a lot of people will lose their cool and alts will puke. That's what my cash is waiting for. I won't panic, the 50 week average is at 75.7K

A lot of bearish Bitcoin takes use random levels. The exact level is a weekly close below 75K, and until that happens a wick under it is a classic early bull market bear trap.

Franklin Templeton added $150 million in fund shares to the XRP Ledger. Read that properly: it didn't buy $150 million of XRP. It put its tokenized money market fund on the chain. That adds $150 million in assets to the XRP Ledger. That's adoption, just not an XRP buy

And it's Ripple's Swell event this week, so more XRP news is coming out all at once. With XRP already in the buy zone, I could see it get a bump once Bitcoin finishes its correction. I hold some, it's been cheap enough

I hold some Injective, and the coin's holding up really well. All of its supply is already circulating, so there's no big unlock coming where early investors can sell on you. To me that's a healthy long-term game
