RT @tanyaelisabethh: It’s sad to think features like these have survived centuries, thousands of years of human history. Hooded eyes, aquiline noses, strong eyebrows, round cheeks, thinner lips, tall, larger built, square jaws, the very faces our mothers, our grandmothers carried, all of it stretching back to queens and peasants alike. Features that have survived it all, seen it all, and all for you to be told now — well it’s just not attractive. Imagine inheriting a face shaped by the entirety of human history, imagine being blessed with a beauty that has survived the many rises and falls of humanity, only to be told you now have to give it all up to the vanities of this generation. What worth is beauty without any history? What worth is beauty without meaning? What worth is beauty when it stops being something we recognize and instead becomes just something we manufacture?

RT @PrasadKarwa: Have a serious question - 1. These people don't have any job 2. They claim that they are from humble background, have studied on loans 3. Since last 3-4 months, they are chilling. No work. Travelling extensively, spending nights in 5 star hotels. Doing absolutely nothing. 4. They haven't done any crowdfunding or anything. 5. WHO IS FUNDING THEM? They demand accountability from everyone. But what about themselves?

RT @JethmalaniM: Judicial independence is a constitutional principle, Justice Kaul. It ill behoves a retired Supreme Court judge to assert that he was an independent judge in his memoirs; that verdict ought to be left for posterity to decide, based on his judgements. Unless the judge is riven with doubts about his independence! Most certainly, anecdotal evidence about wrangling in the collegium are an extremely poor foundation for self-assertions about one's 'independence' as a judge. The timing of the release of Justice Kaul’s memoirs are as ominous as it’s content. It comes on the eve of a Supreme Court hearing and decision on the issue of alleged dissensions within the ECI and the legality of some measures introduced by it. Now let's dissect what's happening: the cockroaches are intent on pressuring the judiciary as the SIR process has weeded out bogus voters which has clearly raised the hackles of the entire unhinged Left/radical Islamists combine (that also includes the INC and some I.N.D.I. allies). On the heels of the eyebrow raising visit of Justice Kaul to Saurav Das’ Diwali party last year followed a scathing personal attack on Justice Suryakant around the time he became CJI in November of that year in one of the combine’s favourite mouthpieces - Caravan. The article was a republication of a 2019 article in the magazine published when CJI. Suryakant was elevated to the Supreme Court that year. Along with his proclaimed fierce independence while serving on the Bench - a claim which needs more analysis than his own self-serving assertion; and his denigration of former CJI Chandrachud as too deferential to the executive is a clarion call to sitting judges to oppose the executive if they wanted to earn the latter’s respect. In the light of his unexplained association with Saurav Das - the vaunted cockroach of the anti-SIR & anti-CEC agitation - the timing and the publicised thrust of his memoirs raise a grave question. ▶ Is he calling upon members of the judiciary to decide the validity of SIR , the related issue of CEC internal divisions and the legality of its processes against the executive and in favour of the protesting anarchists? ▶ Is a former Supreme Court judge using his considerable heft to influence the direction of a most important pending verdict of the Apex Court?

In an interview with journalist Karan Thapar for The Wire, Justice Kaul said that former Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud, was in the practice of discussing names proposed for judicial appointments with the Government before the Supreme Court Collegium formally deliberated on them. Now, Congress is using this statement to target the judiciary. This statement should not be taken in isolation. Let us connect it with some of the events that happened in the past: 1. Photos are circulating showing that Justice Kaul attended a Diwali party at the residence of Cockroach Saurav Das. Why would a Supreme Court judge visit the house of an unknown, unemployed person? 2. Congress Kerala’s official handle targeted the Indian judiciary a few days ago. 3. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi, along with an opposition crowd, marched to the Supreme Court premises, created chaos, and entered forcibly. 4. Students of left-liberal institutes such as TISS and NALSAR Hyderabad and NLU Bangalore opposed the CJI and observed a one-day fast in support of the same ecosystem. 5. The CJI was targeted in London by the wife of CPI-ML President Deepankar Bhattacharya. 6. Justice Chandrachud was once a favourite of the left ecosystem; now the same ecosystem is targeting the Indian judiciary by using his name. 7. When Kaul was Madras HC Chief Justice, Karnan repeatedly attacked him with serious allegations of harassment, belittlement, etc., and even tried contempt proceedings. SC later jailed Karnan for contempt The message is very clear. The left ecosystem is meticulously targeting the Indian judiciary because it knows it is likely to lose the SIR case in the Supreme Court. It is therefore trying to create a fake narrative that the Supreme Court takes permission from the Modi government before delivering judgments. A well-crafted plan to damage Indian democratic institutions is underway by the global communist-socialist ecosystem.

RT @LawBeatInd: 🚨 SUPREME COURT | “₹11,000 to ₹1,30,000 is no calibration!” The Supreme Court pulls up the Centre over the massive price difference in life-saving cancer drugs, questioning the government's claim that it is constantly calibrating drug prices. “Your calibration is too wayward,” the Court tells ASG Aishwarya Bhati. “The patients don’t have any bargaining power.” Justice Sandeep Mehta flags the helplessness of patients facing exorbitant medical costs, observing that they have no real bargaining power when it comes to accessing essential medicines. The Centre responds that complete control over prices is not the answer.

🚨 SUPREME COURT | “Can you show any justification for this loot?” A cancer patient’s husband, a medical distributor, told the Supreme Court that an injection available to him at a dealer price of ₹11,000 was allegedly priced at ₹1.30 lakh by a reputed hospital, which refused to administer the injection he offered. “Why this difference? Where does the money go?” Justice Sandeep Mehta asks the Centre.

RT @parijatpragya: A protest is defined by the conviction behind it, not the coordinates on which it takes place… The denotification of Jantar Mantar as a protest site does not diminish the principle that dissent is neither confined to a designated space nor contingent upon a physical gathering.
