BLUE MUSHROOMS ARE REAL. NO PAINTBRUSH REQUIRED. 💙🍄
Meet Lactarius indigo — the Indigo Milk Cap, one of the most striking blue fungi in the woodland.
Its cap, stem and gills can display shades ranging from pale blue to deep indigo. Cut or damage the flesh and it can release a distinctive blue latex — nature’s own unusual identification clue.
The colour can vary with age and conditions, so it’s not always the same brilliant blue.
No Photoshop, no science-fiction props… just a fungus that looks like it raided the blue paint department! 😂
💬 Have you ever seen a naturally blue mushroom in the wild? Tell me where you spotted it — or let me know if this is a first for you!
