The first thing that will strike about the film is, how real the characters are… Arun is like a rock aside a shore - stubborn, old-school & unalterable, whose ideals are set in stone. Whereas, Divya is very similar to waves - boisterous, free spirited, distinguished. Parting ways is a long and tedious process and this film captures it an authentic pace. Lover is a straight forward film about Love, decay, attachment & letting go , but the straight-forwardness is handled with the refreshing dose of conviction.
