I built a @NousResearch Hermes workflow that my team at @Box uses to track AI trends. Every day at 7am, it researches what's happening across the AI ecosystem and generates a brief for our team. We use it to identify: • AI trends worth paying attention to • Open source projects gaining momentum • New tools developers are adopting • Content opportunities to work on next I've been building agentic workflows for months, and this is one I've actually integrated into my team's daily workflow. Here's how I built it:

Better LLMs alone won't fix today's agent limitations. Agents that coordinate as teams will enable bigger projects, which is exactly what this paper argues. That's why @Bot, @Muse and @NousResearch Hermes are taking off. You set a goal and a team of agents works on it together with their own expertise. My own Grok bot team runs this way, and they share their work in @Box. It's a big reason I'm excited to be at Box. We've powered human collaboration for over a decade. Now that same foundation can be the source of truth where agents collaborate.

I joined @GoogleDeepMind to develop a research program on the economics of AGI. Today, together with Andrew Koh (@andrewjkoh) and Shane Legg (@ShaneLegg), we are incredibly excited to release The Economics of Intelligence, the first in a series of projects from our group on how AGI will change the economy. How do capability improvements transform the economy, and when? In this project, we define thresholds of economic capabilities, e.g., minimal AGI, based on how they transform the economy. We then track how the economy–market structure, employment, and wages–changes during the transition across capability regimes. We have seen exponential increases in what AI agents can do but the broader economy seems almost remarkably unchanged. Part of the reason is that the solo AI agent is the wrong economic object; economic transformation is an equilibrium outcome where organizations compete. Looking at how intelligence functions within organizations, transformation will depend on when two key capability thresholds are crossed: competence (gains on individual skills, e.g., coding, math) and coordination (gains on ability of agents to cooperate and work together). We show that what economic transformation looks like depends on whether AI becomes supercompetent, supercooperative, or both—the regime of artificial superintelligence (ASI). Tracking this transition shows why the real visible transformation may come from improvements in coordination—a capability most benchmarks don’t yet track. Past a certain threshold, AI capabilities can break the Coasian ceiling on firm size and lead to an economy that looks drastically different than the one we see today. Two main takeaways: 1. To understand the path of transformation, we should be tracking agentic coordination more closely. 2. The impact of AI will likely show up in wages before market structure or employment. We are really excited about this paper. Excited to hear people’s thoughts. Link:

Played with Grok @bot all day, and my chief of staff and manager bots continued to instruct their own teams to achieve the goals I've set with them. Agents def use way more tokens than me prompting by hand so model routing to maximize token efficiency will be key to stay relevant.
    Aaron Levie @levie
Agents are going to consume 1,000X more tokens than we consume today. Because they’re going to be running in our workflows, processing all of our data, building out nearly all software, securing enterprises, and much more. To do this at scale we will need a variety of approaches at the frontier of AI. This includes continuing to push the boundaries of closed models, while also increasing the capability of open weights models, making them more secure, as well as making them more efficient for large workloads. Very exciting to see what @Suhail is building with Particle on this front.

Hey @bot what was the dev experience like when building @Box usecases? We'll work on improving your experience building with Box 😉
    Jacob Weaver @weaverwork
I haven't touched my @Box Demo Account this week, and I've built 22 use cases in it. My process: I take a real problem I've run into with manufacturing and automotive customers, like PPAP reviews, change orders, ITAR docs or AP invoices. I describe it to a @grok Bot in plain English. It builds it in my Box demo tenant, using the Box connector plus a Box API app for metadata, Box AI calls and uploads. For what the API can't do, like Box Automate flows, it drives a browser on its own computer. It checks everything against Box's official docs, support site and public GitHub, then builds it according to best practices. So far that's contract lifecycle, AP invoice approvals, supplier onboarding with Forms, Doc Gen and Sign, a plant SOP hub, a construction RFI tracker, a grants dashboard and more. I packaged it so you can use it too. Box Solution Builder:

I just want to set it up, connect to my Tesla, give it access to my @Box account, and talk to my chief of staff, Kevin while commuting to get most of my work done before I even get to the office, so I can just chill and record "A day in the life" videos.

RT @Box: Give a coding agent a task, not a pasted policy. In this demo, fx, @vercel's open-source coding agent, uses Box CLI to fetch the approved policy by ID and check the repo against it. The policy caps export links at 7 days, requires actor IDs in audit events, and requires test coverage. fx finds 30-day link defaults, missing actor IDs, and missing tests. It updates the code, passes 22 tests plus a runtime check, and packages the Git revision, diff, test output, and checksums. It also flags what it couldn’t verify. Before writing back to Box, fx confirms the account, confirms nothing has been shared, and asks for approval. After approval, it uploads the evidence, verifies hashes, and confirms no shared links. Our demo uses Box CLI for policy retrieval and evidence uploads. For sandbox workflows, Box Mount provides Box content as a POSIX filesystem, with two-way sync and Box permissions and governance per operation.

RT @weaverwork: I built a Grok @bot for @Box that only answers from Box's own docs and cites the exact page it used. Then I made it create things for me in my Demo account including full solutions (Contract management, Invoice Processing, etc) Then I thought of the power of having Agents optimize and build in SaaS apps. So I built 103 more, one per app. Let me know what you think and what I should add. My top 10: @Box @salesforce @HubSpot @QuickBooks @ServiceNow @okta @mondaydotcom @Zendesk @airtable @NotionHQ All 104 are on sorted by category and searchable.

RT @bpalit: Enterprise AI gets useful when understanding a document leads to action. Deciding which action requires fast decisions. Our work with Box Extract and OpenAI’s Decisions API explores that fast-decision layer - and turning doc understanding into an automated workflow. We saw ~5× faster route selection, with the same accuracy. Lower-confidence cases went to reviewers. Great to see this work featured in OpenAI’s launch. Thanks to the Box and OpenAI Developers teams!

Since the beta, we’ve added new capabilities to the Decisions API so you can now use: • Native GPT-Live integration so voice apps can react as people speak. • Prompt caching to help lower costs when reusing context. • Native JSON inputs so you can pass structured app data directly. • Images in individual question instructions so you can compare multiple images against a shared reference. • Up to 400 questions per request so you can make twice as many decisions in a single call.

Here's a new AI app stack you can dive into this week. File systems coupled with LLMs become a powerful backend for apps. @Box ran a hackathon with @awscloud and challenged hackers to explore this new concept. I came out of this hackathon inspired and fired up for whats possible with this new stack. Read about it here 👇
