#Reflect

My latest capture - the Cocoon Nebula. It's a combination reflection, emission, and dark nebula located in the constellation Cygnus, approximately 2,500 to 4,000 light-years from Earth. I captured it with my RASA telescope, color camera, using broadband and narrowband filters.

A devastating night for Republicans, but now is the time for some honest self-reflection to figure out what went wrong... right??

2026 U.S. MIDTERMS: NFSC FOUNDER MILES GUO ON DEMOCRACY, AWAKENING, AND AMERICA'S FUTURE. Following the November 3 midterms, Mr. Miles Guo delivered a profound message about American democracy, the CCP, and America's destiny. The greatest strength of America? Its constitutional democracy. The people have spoken. Governments must accept defeat, confront their failures, and correct course. That is what separates a free nation from a dictatorship. Mr. Guo's geopolitical assessment: “The biggest loser was not the Republican Party. It was Russia. The biggest winner was not the Democratic Party. It was the CCP.” He warned that America's political divisions could weaken President Trump's ability to confront Beijing. Mr. Guo interpreted the election as a reflection of public frustration over oil prices, the Iran conflict, the Russia-Ukraine war, and Washington's approach to the CCP. America now faces a historic choice: confront years of CCP infiltration—or descend into partisan infighting that Beijing seeks to exploit. Mr. Guo warned that this is exactly what the CCP wants: a weaker, divided, and unstable America. By exploiting America's two-party political divisions, Beijing stands to benefit. Mr. Guo believes the American people and President Trump will not allow that to happen. He predicted extraordinary shifts in U.S. domestic and foreign policy in the immediate future, with potential opportunities for President Trump amid adversity. For the Whistleblower Movement and NFSC, the ultimate aspiration remains a genuinely democratic China, where the people can correct mistakes and prevent dictatorship. The CCP may be the immediate beneficiary. But Mr. Guo believes the ultimate winners will be the American people and the NFSC. Invoking Noah's Ark and the biblical story of renewal, Mr. Guo described the election as a God-given opportunity for America's rebirth. “置于死地而后生” — From the brink of destruction comes rebirth. The 2026 U.S. midterms could mark the beginning of America's next great awakening. #TakeDownTheCCP. #FreeMilesGuo

Goodnight all and hope you've had a good day. Here's a photo from lunchtime, I liked the reflections but what caught my eye was that 'diamond' shape in the bottom of the locks, and the reflection of the gates, im easily pleased LOL nite all!

🇺🇸 PATRIOTS, OUR STORY IS FAR FROM OVER! One election does not define our future. Millions of Americans remain committed to the principles that make our nation great. This is a moment for unity, reflection, and renewed purpose. Our differences should never overshadow the values we share: faith, freedom, family, opportunity, and a strong America. President Trump remains in the White House, and our nation's political journey continues. We may face setbacks, but our commitment to America must remain stronger than ever. 🇺🇸 OUR BEST CHAPTERS CAN STILL BE AHEAD! #Patriots #AmericaFirst #UnitedWeStand

I agree with you, Darrell. I hope this is a wake-up call to believers and followers. The leadership elected is a direct reflection of our values and behaviors. We're not bold enough for Christ and our leadership reflects our lukewarmness.

After taking some time to pray about and digest the election results which, admittedly, were not the ones I'd hoped for, I have to admit there's a part of me that's not disappointed that the results were what they were. For if the opposite had come to pass, perhaps—I said perhaps—I, and many of my fellow Christian conservatives, might have been tempted to glory in ourselves and in our own efforts and accomplishments, instead of directing that glory to Whom it was due—and is due still. God has ways of (re)orienting our affections in the proper direction (Psalm 115:1). Just my thoughts.

Hello guys After a month of reflection and introspection I have made the decision to leave social media for good It was a very difficult decision to make but I hope you will understand that I am doing this for my own well-being That said this will not be my final post (1/5)

My ACCU On Sea Conference Talk, “CallMeMaybe: Building Modern Runtime Reflection via C++26” is now on YouTube! Upcoming native static reflection in C++26 opens the door to new dynamic reflection capabilities. Using C++26 static reflection, it’s possible to build a type-safe runtime reflection registry without manual registration, with attention to binary size and invocation overhead! Static Reflection is pretty cool. Runtime Reflection is *really* cool!
