Duke Nukem 3D running on StealthV, my own RISC-V CPU and Linux SoC, written entirely in SystemVerilog. Four RV32IMA cores at 100 MHz on a Kintex-7 FPGA, with Sv32 virtual memory, cache coherence, Linux SMP, and no FPU. Running as a regular Linux application, the game exercises the CPU, MMU, caches, SMP scheduler, framebuffer DMA, and ALSA audio. I reworked the software renderer to distribute game logic, geometry, pixel rendering, and audio across all four cores. Around 28 FPS at 320×240. Making it playable at just 100 MHz required more than a simple port. #RISCV #FPGA #SystemVerilog #Linux

The “rework” wasnt even a rework. Nor was the guest rework a rework. The only true rework was two times rework since their moveset completely changed (well they didnt have abilities). The devs seem to not know the difference between balance changes/overhauls and reworks

Generate or edit images 5× faster, in 8 steps instead of 50. A 4 MP image takes 2.6 s instead of 12.4 s. The model is 7× smaller than H3, so high-resolution images are a light download and run on a much smaller GPU. - 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁?
