    Just took the 2022 State of CSS survey. That was humbling and enlightening. I can’t believe how many new features there are. It makes me wonder: Is this sustainable? The spec is getting so huge, how can we expect people to know it? #StateOfCSS survey:

    #StateOfCSS shows that 70% of developers never heard about new wide-gamut and relative colors. @sitnikcode has a great guide to oklch() and wide-gamut colors. And they have good polyfill in postcss-preset-env.

    This is pretty crazy. @tailwindcss went from 34% to 80% awareness in one year! Even accounting for more promotion within the Tailwind community this year that's pretty impressive! (Also impressive that literally everybody has heard about Bootstrap!) #StateOfCSS

Browsers look at the results to decide what to implement next. Can pause/resume across multiple devices. Partial responses still valuable! Only got 5m? Just enter your pain points. I suspect my wishlist might be the longest across all respondents. 😅 Including it below for lulz or inspiration 👇

    Just finished taking this year’s #StateOfCSS! It was quite funny that there were CSS features I had designed where I had to select "Heard of it" because *technically* I haven't used them yet. 😅 If you plan to take it, do it now, it's closing very soon: Surprised ident() didn’t make the cut. Personally, that’s the feature I’m looking forward to the most (+ mixins, functions, attr(), if())
