Recently, a #trainingprogramme on 8th Revised Disability Assessment Guidelines was organized by the #DEPwD Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GoI in collaboration with Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata from 6th to 7th March, 2025. It was aimed at training the medical practitioners of Andaman and Nicobar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha to implement the Revised Disability Assessment Guidelines notified on 12th March, 2024, which emphasizes on a holistic approach to disability assessment.
