📣 Major Announcement 📣
As you all know, security at SmarDex is paramount, especially given the frequent hacking incidents seen in the DeFi space. 🛡️💻
Recently, we've been bursting with ideas for new features to be added to SmarDex, requiring us to focus heavily on smart contract work. Not only are we upholding our consistent security standards, but we're also prepping our contracts for a future transition to a DAO, managing rewards across multiple chains, and incorporating the deflationary nature of $SDEX. 📈🔗💡
For thorough vetting, we have decided to work even deeper with
@0xPaladinSec, arguably the most reputable team in the DeFi universe, to scrutinize all the crucial aspects of the new contracts before deployment. 🕵️♂️💼
Here are the key takeaways:
- The upcoming contract deployment will be more significant than expected. It is not just about multi-chain deployment, but also foreseeing SmarDex's future evolution. 🚀
- This deployment will include several adjustments, such as flexible and optimizable fees for each pair, as mentioned in a previous tweet. 💱
- The deployment will account for various elements crucial to SmarDex's further evolution, with new features we're excited to reveal soon, that will make SmarDex even more phenomenal than it already is. 🌐🔍
Given these complexities, we've decided to postpone the multi-chain deployment slightly, by a few weeks at most, to allow our team time to collaborate with Paladin on the new contracts and ensure maximum security for our users (special thanks to
@PaladinCharles and his amazing team).
We will, therefore, be able to publish all of Paladin's work on both the old and new contracts concurrently with the smart contract deployment. ⏳🤝
Remember, all of this is done with the safety of SmarDex users in mind, and we consider it vital not to take any risks with user funds. 💼🔐🚀
Thank you for your patience and understanding! 🙏💚
