    I agree the rich should pay higher rates.But this & other needed revenue raising actions won’t raise nearly enough to balance books Significant rationalisation of public bodies & headcount are needed to reduce inefficiency No journalist raises this!🤔

    The San Francisco Business Times reported Wednesday that the properties traded for $14.35 million. The tower and garage span about 702,000 square feet, according to Behring — and that reported pricing shakes out to a mere $20 per square foot. On its own, the recent sale sets the 1950 Franklin tower’s value at $32 per square foot. The price, if accurate, is astoundingly low, even in this compromised market. For instance, a distressed loan for a roughly 72% occupied 276,000-square-foot office tower at 180 Grand , about three blocks over, recently sold for a reported $105 per square foot, or about $28 million. That building was worth $119 million in 2017, according to reporting by the Business Times. WOW, Progressives really ruined this city.

    Interesting Health statistics I heard this morning. Over the last 10 years in Northern Ireland, the health budget has doubled, senior executive salaries have doubled, and yet waiting lists have also doubled. Perhaps it's time we started asking some serious questions about accountability, management and value for money.
