Uncovering parameter uncertainty when gas sorption #MathModels are fitted to sorption #Data via our Bayesian Inference framework @J_Membrane_Sci reveals how much uncertainty remains in mixture sorption predictions, even after good fit‼️➡️See #UQ#QUT.
👋 I am Peter and I work on the models team at @hoxtonfarms! We develop #mathmodels and #softwaretools to help collect data and get the most out it.
I used to work at @TheCrick & @imperialcollege on tools for microscopy techniques.

Visual representations in math help the concepts stick! Grade 5s showcase their thinking about the relationship between fractions, decimals, and percents. Student choice in the final product created an engaging task! #mathmodels#bhnessentialpractices
Took my algebra class outside today for them to model today’s lesson on quadratic equations and vertical motion models using a soccer/volleyball. @HambrickMS_AISD#algebra#mathmodels
Using a number line in grade 7/8 @MissNotarandrea helps students think about contexts involving positive and negative numbers (aka integers)! We ❤️ number lines! #mathmodels#seethemath
🧠🔍Ever mulled over 'for thinking' or 'of thinking' math models? Dive into our Community of Practice event with @teedjvt to shed light on it! 👩🏫🎯

Watched the film #Sully today (been saving it for the right time) and really enjoyed it. An unexpected example of using #mathmodels too - here it was to prove a mistake. IMO it’s a great example of needing to know why a model is used, making it useful, knowing the inputs 🧐
