🔎 It’s #ChainWatchThursday, and what’s new with @CantonNetwork as institutional tokenisation moves from development into live services? 🏦 @The_DTCC, which safeguards approximately $114 trillion in assets, has launched its Tokenization Service on Canton. The service enables digital representations of Russell 1000 stocks, major index ETFs and US Treasuries, marking a significant step towards bringing traditional financial assets onto blockchain infrastructure. More than 150 firms contributed to its development. 🔐 Institutional custody is expanding alongside tokenisation. @Ripple’s Custody platform now supports Canton Network, allowing institutions to hold and transfer $CC and CIP-56 tokens within the same custody platform, policy engine and audit trail they use for other digital assets. 🛠️ Canton’s developer infrastructure is evolving too. The Canton Foundation’s Dev Hub V3 is now live, with an AI-powered assistant that helps developers find relevant tools for Canton Improvement Proposals (CIPs).
