RT @vickimichelle: Happy Heavenly Birthday Dame Cleo Laine. Brilliant singer, Gorgeous Lady. Loved her Scatting. Fab memory, we put up Blue Plaque for Sir Johnny Dankworth, with Digby Fairweather. #DameCleoLaine #Scatting @jacquidankworth #AlecDankworth @digbyfair @StablesMK #WednesdayWisdom

RT @archivetvmus71: The first episode of The Adventures of Rupert Bear was broadcast on this day in 1970. 156 episodes were made, airing between 1970 and 1977. Jackie Lee sang the theme song.

RT @MorrisBrightMBE: Oh Hello!!! Remembered with a smile - the late great comedy actor Charles Hawtrey who died this day in 1988 aged 73.

RT @CarmaChords: Lance Oppenheim directed the hell out of film. A phenomenal performance from Rob Pattinson as always, but Skyler Gisondo stole the show for me. I think they could've pushed further, but a decent watch overall.

RT @Variety: Susan Saint James, the Emmy-winning actress who starred opposite Rock Hudson in “McMillan & Wife” and Jane Curtin in the CBS sitcom “Kate & Allie,” died Monday at 80 years old after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Saint James’ family described her as someone “generous with her time and energy, which she valued more than money, and instinctively drawn to whoever needed lifting up. She taught her children to pause, be kind and look out for other people. She never met a stranger. Every person she met became the most important person in the room at that moment, from a fellow board member to the clerk at the shoe store, who usually walked away knowing her entire life story.” (via People)

RT @irvingact3: My friend’s friend, Cheryl Rock needs to raise funds for medical expenses. Could you please share this with as many people as you can. Thank you.
