The fourth of 93 bellows has been installed in the Tokamak Building. Tack welding is now underway. Bellows accommodate thermal expansion and mechanical loads during machine operation, connecting the cryostat to the building. #ITER #FusionEnergy

ITER celebrated the completion of all four vacuum vessel sectors manufactured in the Republic of Korea. The ceremony recognized the Korean institutions, companies and individuals behind this major contribution—and the international cooperation on which ITER depends.
