This is a 1/100 card with a current floor price of 0.1357 BTC ($10,856 USD). 36 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest controls 50% of the total supply (50/100). That wallet was last active 9 years ago. This appears to be an original artwork celebrating Halloween 2016 (the year it was minted). Reminiscent of 1980s and 1990s horror movie posters, it's a fitting tribute to spooky season. The artwork depicts a skeletal Pepe with lifelike eyes and teeth. Blood drips from its eyes and mouth, while a blood-red background completes the gruesome scene. One of my favorite things about Marfa is meeting artists IRL and experiencing their work in person. I love seeing the big artists, exhibitions and installations get the attention they deserve, but there's so much incredible art that quietly changed hands throughout the weekend. Artists, creators and collectors travel from all over, carrying prints, merch and little pieces of themselves, often giving them away expecting nothing in return. Just a genuinely kind gesture. That takes effort, generosity and a whole lot of passion. So here's a little appreciation thread for the wonderful people whose art found its way home with me. In no particular order.
