NGOPVs derive their names from #India’s rich heritage, with this ship being named as ‘𝙎𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙩𝙞’, meaning ‘𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’ or ‘𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴’ in Sanskrit. The ceremony was attended by the Chief Staff Officer (Operations) of the Eastern Naval Command, the Fleet Commander of the Republic of Singapore Navy, and other senior officers from both Navies.
