Sorting Hat ceremony, maker edition 🎩 @cptnkearn printed one and asked a single question: "Ready for the Sorting Hat?"

I feel so much better with clean clothes, but it’s the sorting and folding that’s a real pain. Get the folding table to make your time in the laundry room a breeze. #laundry#soap#sorting#socks#billsmafia#ad
This is my new claude system
Build a personal team, that helps me take care of my day to day tasks.
Find the prompt in the comments below
I had 300+ Claude Code sessions in my sidebar and couldn’t find anything. So now they’re a team. Each one is a “person” who owns one kind of work, and the orange number is how many are waiting on me
The part I like most: it cleans up, but only with my OK.
Old finished threads go into an “archive?” list and nothing gets archived until I want them to.
If you want one, here’s the prompt I’d use to build it from scratch 👇
Build me a mod for the Claude desktop app that turns my Code sessions into a "team".
1. Read my recent Code sessions (last 8 weeks), read-only. Look at each one's title and first message.
2. Propose 6–10 "people" that cover the kinds of work I actually do, each with a name and a one-line description of what it owns. Show me the list and wait for my OK before building anything.
3. Every 30 minutes, sort each session under one person. Use the cheapest model, in batches, with only the title and first message. Recurring scheduled tasks get sorted by a simple name rule instead of the model.
4. For each session, work out a status: waiting on me (blocked, or something is ready for me to review), active, or done.
5. Give each person a pixel-art face, drawn in code (no image generation). Write a small Python script that draws a 20x20 grid: one shared head (skin, eyes, smile, neck, shirt), then a different overlay per person written as ASCII art, where each letter is a colour and "." leaves the pixel as is. Use that to give each one their own hair, glasses, beard or hat, add a dark outline around the whole figure, and save each face as an SVG. Show me all the faces side by side so I can ask for changes.
6. Build a hub page: one card per person with their face, "X active · Y waiting", and the latest thread's title. Clicking a card lists that person's threads with a one-line summary each.
7. Add a strip of the faces with an orange badge for "waiting on me", visible from anywhere in the app.
8. Option to file sessions into sidebar groups named after each person.
9. Cleanup: suggest finished threads idle for 14+ days for archiving, but never archive anything until I approve it in the hub. For recurring tasks, keep the latest 2 runs. Never delete anything.
10. Keep everything local. No data leaves my Mac except the sorting call to the model.
Ask me before any design or scope decision. Test it before you tell me it's done.
Now we know it too... A mere 30 seconds of your voice (with some voice-behavior science applied) can tell you more than the enneagram, your horoscope, and the Hogwarts sorting hat. We use it to make hiring a better place, for all of us.
Don't believe us? Try it out (thread).
