Take a look at the August issue cover video: #Spatialtranscriptomic mapping of early hidradenitis suppurativa. This video shows spatial transcriptomic profiling of early-stage #hidradenitissuppurativa skin, using NanoString GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiling, visualizing epithelial and immune compartments across epidermal and dermal layers. Fluorescent morphology markers were used to delineate epithelial cells (panCK), immune cells (CD45), and nuclei (SYTO 13), which are displayed in distinct colors to define spatial regions of interest. The video highlights immune-enriched microenvironments extending into the deep dermis prior to dermal tunnel or fibrosis formation. This work was produced by Drs. Jaehwan Kim (University of California, Davis) and Young In Lee (Yonsei University College of Medicine). @RockefellerUniv @UCDavisHealth @yonseimed #SingleCellRNAseq #DermatologyResearch #dermtwitter #dermatology #dermscience #dermresearch
