#stackstac

(1/) Hey #RemoteSensing folks! I'm happy to announce the first release of #cubo, a lovely #Python package for easily creating EO mini cubes from #STAC 🛰️🧊😁 gh: docs: #Geospatial #GeoPython #DataViz #EOchat #GISchat

(2/) The cool thing about #cubo is that you just need to introduce a pair of coordinates, the edge size of the cube, and the start and end dates. Then you can select the #STAC collection you require (also the STAC endpoint) and the spatial resolution 🚀😉

(3/) Of course this would not have been possible without #stackstac, #pystac, @xarray_dev, @dask_dev, #rasterio, #pyproj, and a lot of amazing resources out there! Thanks a lot! 😁❤️ Check the GitHub repo here:

We just had an amazing time working with #EarthSystemDataCubes here in Tartu 🇪🇪 #FOSS4GE2024! 🌍🧊🤩 Thanks to all the awesome workshop participants and @MartinuzziFra! 🥳 @Rsc4Earth @idiv @GoogleDevEurope @UniLeipzig

Hands-on and minds engaged! 🌟 Highlights from today's #FOSS4GE2024 workshops with thanks to our talented leaders @astroidex @krishnaglodha @dmlmont and others 🙌 @OSGeo @LGeoinformatics #foss4ge #tartu

We explored different dimensions of Earth using the #EarthSystemDataCube (ESDC) from the #DeepESDL project by @esa @Rsc4Earth @UniLeipzig @BrockmannCon! 🌍

And we created #EarthSystemDataCubes from scratch using @STACspec and #stackstac, and also using #GoogleEarthEngine and #xee! ⚙️🌍🛰️ All on top of the amazing @numpy_team and @xarray_dev in #Python! 🐍

@geonanayi @giswqs @sherwang @hannah_kerner @abitmore Hey, @geonanayi! You can do this with #PlanetaryComputer and #stackstac ( and I think it is much easier. However, if you want to use #EarthEngine, I recommend you to use #wxee to export your images ( it is pretty fast! 🚀

(2/) You can use the package to convert #Sentinel2 images via: ✅ SAFE (Complete images) ✅ #stackstac (@xarray_dev @dask_dev data cubes from #STAC) ✅ #cubo (mini EO data cubes)

(1/) Hey #RemoteSensing folks! I'm happy to announce the first release of #sen2nbar, a #Python package for converting #Sentinel2 SR to Nadir BRDF Adjusted Reflectance (#NBAR)! 🛰️😁 gh: docs: #GeoPython #DataViz #EOchat #GISchat

(3/) #sen2nbar uses the c-factor method to correct the images, do you want to know more about it? Check the amazing literature by David P. Roy et al.! - - - -

(n/) Thanks to all the open source projects that were used to create this package! 😁 @xarray_dev @dask_dev #stackstac #xmltodict @STACspec #rasterio #rioxarray #pystac and many others! 🚀

Hey, #RemoteSensing enthusiasts! @csaybar and I know how much you love the #GoogleEarthEngine syntax... so we created #easystac, a #Python package for simple #STAC queries that looks a lot like #GEE! 🚀 #GeoPython #GISchat #EOchat #PlanetaryComputer #EarthEngine #Geospatial

It works on top of #pystac_client and #stackstac, so you get some lazy #xarray data arrays to work in parallel with #dask! 😉 PD: This is also very useful for data cubing!
