From an Israeli intel official in NAZA: “I hack into the phone of a 12 year old girl. If a girl calls her mom, ‘Mummy,’ she says, ‘when are you returning home? Daddy just came back.’ That’s a message that would alert the system bc it contains the words ‘return’ and ‘daddy.’” This builds on @yuval_abraham’s previous reporting on the (incomprehensibly evil) “Where’s Daddy” program the IDF built to learn when fathers were at home with their children so they could kill then all at once (along with anyone else killed in the building during the attack).

RT @DropSiteNews: 🍊 "Does she really think it was a good idea to take money that could have helped poor sick children and use it instead for political TV ads?" CBS Miami's Jim DeFede asked of Florida Republican Sen. Ashley Moody on Sunday. In 2024, when Moody was Florida's attorney general, Centene, a contractor accused of overbilling Florida's Medicaid program, agreed to pay the state about $67 million. Settlement money like that normally goes back to the state, where the Legislature decides how to spend it. But under the deal, $10 million was sent as a "donation" to the Hope Florida Foundation, a charity founded by first lady Casey DeSantis. The money then moved in three steps:
➤ The foundation passed the $10 million to two nonprofits
➤ Those nonprofits sent about $8.5 million to "Keep Florida Clean," a political committee run by Gov. Ron DeSantis' then-chief of staff, James Uthmeier
➤ "Keep Florida Clean" spent it on ads against the 2024 ballot measure to legalize marijuana, which DeSantis opposed A grand jury called the money "misappropriated" in a "sophisticated scheme," but brought no charges because no one would take responsibility for the decision. But Moody's office had to approve the settlement, and her chief deputy who signed it, testified that he raised concerns with her beforehand. The grand jury faulted her office for putting no conditions on how the charity could spend the money. Months later, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Moody to the US Senate seat that Marco Rubio left to become secretary of state, citing her opposition to the marijuana ballot measure and a second measure that would have protected abortion rights, CBS Miami reported. WIOD radio host Manny Muñoz asked Moody this week what she knew about where the money was going. DeFede said her answer was "word salad." She faces Democrat Angie Nixon on Nov. 3.

There are even videos where you see them breaking into residential buildings and the police seem totally overwhelmed and in many places are nowhere to be seen. This is completely surreal and I don't think anything like that has ever happened before.

    Andy Stone @andymstone
We have continued to dig into the root cause here and would like to offer an update. Our engineering team discovered that the spike that triggered the incorrect enforcement was primarily in the account’s “reading” behavior. Specifically, our network security systems detected the use of a Claude tool reading profiles, posts, and hashtags, the rate of which sharply increased (~4x volume) in intense bursts on October 17. These abrupt, high-volume, sequential requests in a short period resembled automated bot traffic rather than an ordinary human browsing our systems. This activity caused our automated protections to incorrectly take the No Kings Instagram account offline. An automated re-review of the removal action an hour later recognized that shouldn’t have happened and restored the account. It unfortunately took additional time for us to straighten out the situation with admin access to the IG account. We want to reiterate our sincere apology for the error.

RT @DropSiteNews: 🔺 "A new atmosphere is emerging in the region," Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, told reporters after hosting top officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey in Tehran on Monday. 🔸Rezaei, a longtime former IRGC commander, said the sides held "very good" talks and agreed that West Asia's security should be managed by regional states, without foreign intervention. The "results of the Iranian nation's resistance" are becoming more tangible "day by day," he said. 🔸 Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalın also met President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Araghchi. The four countries said they would "continue the dialogue," and officials called it the first in an expected series of meetings, though no date has been set. 🔸 Iran expert Vali Nasr of Johns Hopkins called the meeting "a big PR win for Iran," with regional powers coming to Tehran "to ask for help on Yemen." Nasr noted that Iran is now calling it the "Tehran Summit," a sign it envisions a regional order it would define and lead. That order would keep the US out, he wrote, which "does not easily square" with its guests' US ties. The meeting came a day after President Donald Trump said he was deciding whether to "finish it off" or "make a deal" with Iran.

RT @DropSiteNews: 🇵🇸 "Mama, cover me. Mama, I'm scared," 7-year-old Jouri al-Soufi told her mother as gunfire rang out near their tent in Khan Younis before dawn Monday. Moments later, an Israeli bullet struck her in the heart as she lay under her blanket, her mother told the Palestinian newspaper Felesteen. Her mother, Islam Abu Muammar, didn't realize Jouri had been hit until she tried to wake her and found blood on her side. Jouri's grandmother and other women in the family, one of them pregnant, were also wounded. The family said ambulances couldn't reach them for an hour or more because the shooting continued near the "yellow line," the boundary of Israeli-occupied Gaza under the ceasefire. Jouri was a top student in second grade, her family said. Israeli forces killed her father about a year and a half earlier, and she had lived through hunger and displacement since. "My daughter was the most precious thing in my life," her mother said.

RT @DropSiteNews: 🇾🇪 Ansarallah now controls every entry point to Taiz, a city of more than 1 million people, and 20 of the province's 23 districts, Drop Site reported earlier this week. The entrances have become active frontlines, and drivers can only get in or out during brief lulls. Fighting and road closures have cut aid to about 800,000 people in and around the city, and wheat flour stocks are nearly exhausted, according to the World Food Programme. The International Organization for Migration says 201,217 people have been newly displaced by the escalation. Inside the city, 20 liters of petrol now costs 90,000 riyals, up from 30,000, and bread is about 50% more expensive, Drop Site reported. Schools and universities are closed, and dialysis patients can no longer safely reach hospitals. Sanaa's military says it has offered civilians safe routes out and accuses the forces inside of keeping crossings closed. Officials of the Saudi-backed government accuse Ansarallah of blocking fuel and gas tankers from entering the city, speaking to Al Jazeera Arabic. Neither claim could be independently verified. Residents told the Financial Times that fuel trucks can't reach the city because of fighting on the main roads, and that leaving now means crossing active front lines. "We missed the window to flee safely, so we have no choice now," Walid Saeed, an electrician, told Drop Site. 🔗 Read Drop Site's full dispatch from Taiz below.

RT @DropSiteNews: 🇴🇲 Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi called for a non-aggression pact among the six Gulf Arab states, alongside Iran and Iraq, that would end the US role as the region’s primary security provider, speaking at Cambridge University on Monday. Gulf security has “relied for too long on the involvement of external powers,” Albusaidi told an audience of over 100 diplomats and foreign policy specialists, making issues like the Strait of Hormuz “impossible to resolve.” He said “perhaps the most damaging” priority imposed on the region from outside was the exclusion of Iran for nearly 50 years: “Not just excluded. Worse. Positioned as the threat against which regional security had to be organized.” In what The Guardian described as an indirect challenge to President Trump’s case for renewed strikes on Iran, amid reports that the US and Israel are considering another round of attacks, Albusaidi reiterated that the US-Iran talks Oman mediated in February were “making significant progress” and that “an agreement was within reach” when the war was launched. “We still stand by that judgement today,” he said. The speech came the same day Saudi, Pakistani and Turkish officials met Iranian leaders in Tehran.

RT @DropSiteNews: 🔺 NEW: Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei met Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, a day after Rezaei hosted top Saudi, Pakistani and Turkish officials in Tehran, Khamenei's office announced Tuesday on his official X account. 🔸 Khamenei called for ending the current state of "neither war nor peace" by ensuring that the conditions Iranian officials have set for ending the war are met, and for pursuing the interests of Iran and the "Resistance Front." 🔸 The two discussed safeguarding national and regional security "by maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz," and strengthening relations with neighboring countries "on the basis of lasting and mutual interests." 🔸 Rezaei briefed Khamenei on the Islamic Republic's strategic policy of "organizing regional endogenous arrangements and order," meaning a regional security system built by the region's own states, and not reliant on the U.S.. After Monday's meeting, Rezaei said security in West Asia "must be endogenous." 🔸 The Supreme Leader described "the enemy's desperation" as a fruit of national "resistance," and called for "proactive and timely communication" to sustain public participation in "defending the country and the system." Khamenei also stressed the "interconnectedness" of culture, politics, the economy and security in the council's work. The meeting, which follows Khamenei's sit-down with parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf last week, marks a more visible turn after what the Guardian's Patrick Wintour called "a low-profile first 200 days" as supreme leader.

RT @DropSiteNews: Ansar Allah forced Riyadh into a truce in 2022 by demonstrating its ability to inflict serious damage on Saudi Arabia, Dr. Annelle Sheline told Drop Site. Now, it has shown it can inflict even greater damage, yet MBS is escalating rather than negotiating a diplomatic settlement. “How many people are going to die before the leadership in Riyadh reaches that conclusion, which they had arrived at years ago?” she asks. 🔗 Full discussion on YouTube. RT @mashabani: NEW: The Pakistani, Saudi and Turkish guests hosted in Tehran yesterday asked Mohsen Rezaee, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, about the status of talks with Washington. Rezaee is said to have told them Iran could shorten the implementation timeline of its seven-condition proposal to the Trump administration. If “the only issue is the number of days,” Rezaee's deputy at the SNSC, Ali Baqeri-Kani quoted him as saying, Iran could accept five or even four days instead of seven. Yet the core obstacle is not speed or even substance, but sequencing. To break the deadlock, senior political sources in Tehran told @amwajmedia, Iran last month proposed through Qatar a seven-day plan to end the war, under which Hormuz would reopen on Day 6 and final-deal talks would resume on Day 7. Squeezing that timeline to four or five days does not change the dispute over sequencing. The Islamabad MOU agreed between Iran and the United States in June is a two-stage accord. Under its Paragraph 13, talks on a final deal, including on Iran's nuclear program, can begin only once five measures are being implemented, and they must continue while talks run. The Trump administration now seems to want core elements of the endgame up front. If that includes Iran's uranium stockpile, Tehran would be trading irreversible steps for easily reversible ones. In such a scenario, the Islamic Republic may calculate that peace today could ensure a much more costly war tomorrow. Trump has said he is weighing a deal with Iran against military action to “finish them off.” It is an open question whether the president has any real interest in a mutually acceptable formula. After all, Trump may already have been persuaded that a deal will not deliver what one final blow against the Islamic Republic just might. If that is the case, Tehran may not be caught off guard this time.

Israeli police said they opened an assault investigation. No arrests have been reported. RT @DropSiteNews: 🚨 “He was blown to pieces right before my eyes. His schoolbag was still on his shoulder.” Israeli forces killed 14-year-old Palestinian student Mohammed Abu Hammad in a drone strike on Al-Baraka Street, south of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza shortly after he returned from school. Mohammed had stopped at his father's shop to look after it while his father ran an errand. “He hadn't even been sitting in the chair for five minutes,” Ahmed Muhareb told Drop Site's Mohamed Ahmed. “They fired a missile at the boy, while his schoolbag was still on his back.” At the hospital, people held up Mohammed's bloodstained schoolbag and notebooks, pointing to the shrapnel that had pierced them. His father wept over his son's body. “I swear, I was just talking to him,” he cried. “Mohammed was the one I depended on.” “This is a child. What did he do wrong?” Mohammed's sister, Malak Abu Hammad, said. Questioning the ceasefire, she asked, “Do they even know God, to be talking about a ceasefire?” “Is it not enough that you've forced us to live in tents? You've forced us to live in hunger and poverty. Why are you killing us?” Muhareb asked. Several other students were wounded in the attack, which also killed another Palestinian, the Palestinian Ministry of Education said. At least six Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since Saturday morning. 🎥 Mohamed Ahmed

She is the second young girl killed by indiscriminate Israeli fire in the area's displacement tents this week, after 7-year-old Jouri al-Soufi who was killed yesterday. Ahmed Yassin Bseiso, a man, also died Tuesday of wounds from an Israeli strike on Thawra Street in central Gaza City several days ago, the report said. 🇵🇸 "Mama, cover me.
