this is amazing This is what it was always about. Solving all diseases Anthropic is working with six drug developers and launching its own programs targeting rare childhood muscular dystrophies, with Claude handling much of the scientific and operational work. The numbers are striking. Anthropic reports Claude is helping improve experimental treatments and slash drug development paperwork: Cancer: Generate Biomedicines designed a CAR-T component 70% shorter, producing roughly 10x more cancer ecognizing receptors in lab tests, improving tumor cell killing and keeping immune cells active longer. Muscular dystrophy: A one-person company used Claude to coordinate 11 external labs, reaching promising mouse results in under 18 months. Human trials could begin as early as late 2028, if development succeeds. Food allergies: Claude generated 35,000 antibody designs in about a month. Testing identified 20 that dislodged allergy triggering IgE from immune cells; three appeared to outperform the standard medication on that measure. Better drug candidates: BigHat tested 1,010 variants in 10 weeks. The best versions bound over 10x more tightly; one resisted precipitation at temperatures 18°C higher, another clumped over 100x more slowly. Paperwork: At Enveda, Claude caught all 11 issues humans found, plus 7 they missed, cutting review time 89%. One regulatory draft took four hours versus roughly three months manually.

She is the founder and Creative Director of Somi London, a luxury fashion house combining Saudi cultural heritage with contemporary Western design, sustainability and well-being. Her work has been showcased at London Fashion Week and the Cannes Film Festival, with her collections exploring identity, femininity, cultural storytelling and the relationship between fashion and human emotions. “It’s a privilege to be a fashion designer - we don't follow the trend, we create the trend and that's how we stand out. My vision is to continue combining east and west, combining the modern luxury with the historical culture of Saudi Arabia just because I found out that that's really who I am.” Through Somi London, she is exploring biodegradable materials, natural fibres and the potential of fashion to support wellness and longevity. “It's important to know where the fabric is coming from. It's very important to know if the person who worked on this fabric is getting paid enough and that's part of sustainability” Somy also founded Somi Talents Academy, helping emerging creatives develop their identities and build careers in fashion. During our discussion, we explored Saudi Arabia's growing fashion ecosystem, sustainable luxury, AI-powered design and manufacturing, the role of social media in creative entrepreneurship, and the future of intelligent wearable textiles. “Thanks to AI because of the measurement, they get the measurements so accurate. They get the pattern so accurate. There is no mistake. I got the samples right from the first from the first try.” 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞, 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐈. RT @NobelPrize: How the brain governs feelings, behaviours and bodily functions has long been a mystery. This year’s medicine laureates, Karl Deisseroth, Peter Hegemann and Georg Nagel, pioneered the field of optogenetics, which makes it possible to switch on, or off, the activity of individual nerve cells in a living brain. Using optogenetics, researchers have been able to reveal neural circuits governing specific memories, feelings and behaviours relevant for neurological and psychiatric disorders. In clinical medicine, researchers are using the method in attempts to restore sight in people with visual impairment. Listen to Peter Hegemann describe his feelings shortly after receiving the news about the prize:
