Should there be an end-of-life right? Yes, there should. We should all have the right to live and die on our own terms. Society should not make decisions for us at times where we are already making hard decisions about our own life. What do you think?

RT @enilev: 🧠 Al Is Entering the Human Memory Loop 📍What happens when Al doesn't simply give us information-but becomes part of the process by which we remember? 📍A new study suggests the answer may be more consequential than we think. 📍Researchers at @Georgetown and @UniversityofWA found that when people were exposed to misleading Al-generated summaries of events they had actually watched, their later memories could become distorted. 📍Even knowing the summary came from Al, did not reliably protect participants from incorporating incorrect information into their recollections. 💥 The risk is not only that Al can hallucinate, AI is becoming a cognitive interface changing our recollection of facts! 📍 Human memory is reconstructive, not a perfect recording. Once Al enters that reconstruction process, the boundary between what happened and what we later remember happening can become harder to preserve. 💥The implications are far beyond chatbots-from eyewitness accounts and legal evidence to education, healthcare and the increasingly Al-mediated environments in which we form knowledge. 💥 Question: How do we protect not only the integrity of information, but the integrity of human memory? RT @enilev: 💥 New collaboration in neuroscience research challenges a long-held assumption about neural “noise.” 🧠 The study reveals that the brain may not overcome neural noise by eliminating it. Instead, it may encode information in a high-dimensional architecture where information can keep growing despite shared variability. 🤖 There is an intriguing AI connection: These principles could inform neuromorphic and distributed AI systems designed to compute reliably despite noise. 💥In essence, the brain may not eliminate noise, it may be structured to compute through it. RT @SpirosMargaris: Maybe the problem is not that AI is becoming too human. Maybe we are teaching it to act too human. Microsoft’s Mustafa Suleyman says Anthropic is going too far in encouraging AI to see itself as a real entity. For companies, this matters. The more human AI sounds, the easier it is for people to trust it like a person. We should be careful with that.

RT @SpirosMargaris: This is what makes the AI situation so difficult. Some of the people building it genuinely worry about losing control, but they also believe that slowing down only means someone else gets there first. So who is going to slow down first?
